The next morning
Lake POV
I was in a good mood as a consequence of last nights events. This morning we all decided to get up and make a good hearty breakfast.
Kalen was making the eggs and bacon.
Rachelles was in charge of fruit salad and juices.
Beatrice was in charge of the fresh juices and smoothies.
And I was in charge with setting the table out and taking the shop bought pastries out and plating them.
After cooking
We all sat at the table and laughed and joked while eating our food. I haven't felt this happy since... since uno before...
I don't still love her but she'll always take a place in my heart as my first live and she never deserved to die. At least Rachelle was teaching me and helping me learn what happiness means again with Kae and Beatrice alongside her.
At this moment I was truly grateful.
"So what we're you guys up to last night then, I still see you haven't touched your pizza was that not what you was hungry for.." Rachelle said putting Kalen and Beatrice on the spot
"Rachelle you see... gentlemen do NOT kiss and tell" Kalen said with a smirk
"Well I didn't know you kissed so I guess you just told me that" Rachelle said dying of laughter me along with her. Beatrice slapped kalen on the shoulder before getting out her reply.
"Baby girllll I do not know why your laughing cause I saw you leave Lakes room this morning and go into your room then I saw you with your phone heading on BACK to his room...care to enlighten me" Well damn forgot about that
"Okok sorry I was in your business I apologise no need to be in mine hehehe"
For the rest of the day we played games watched moves and even went for a calming evening walk on the beach.I wished time could just stay still and we wouldn't t have to leave this blissful getaway. It was around 10 pm on Sunday when we left to head back.
Guess you really can't stop time can you.
