Getting To Know Each Other

While the rest of Lances family were choosing their gaurds Lance tried to sneak out of the room, but before he could leave the room Keith stoped him.

"Hey, can I ask where you are going?"

"Umm.... I'm going to the garden. I dont really like being around so many grownups especially the gaurds. I know they are here to protect me but it still makes me uncomfy....when....I am..around so many..."

"So many what?"Keith asked.

"So many galrans...... I'm not saying that you guys make me scared but so many big people with wepons scares me sometimes." Lance said quickly and without breathing.

"Hey, you don't need to explain yourself and I get not feeling safe when so many people who are a lot bigger than you have wepons." Keith said while slowly walking up to lance and grabing his shoulders to try and calm him.

"Promise?" Lance said while sniffling."You still want to be my gaurd?"

"Of course I want to be your gaurd. How about instead of going back in there with all of the other gaurds we and sit in the garden?" Keith asked Lance hoping he wouldn't start to cry.

"Okay."

They started to walk to the garden but on their way to the garden Lance stopped in the middle of the hallway.

"Are you okay prince Lance?"

"Mhm...if I show you something will you not tell anybody about it?"

"I wont tell anybody on one condition." Keith said and he could see Lance started to get scared and a little sad. "Don't you want to know what that condition is before you get sad?"

"Sure.....I guesss."

"It's nothing bad. I just want you to promise that what you show me isn't dangerous in anyway.

"Oh...that's it?" Lance said while looking up to Keith. "I can do that it isn't bad and it cant hurt me either." Lance said with a small smile.

"Okay, then I won't tell anybody." Keith said giving Lance a small smile of reassurance.

Lances smile grew. He grabed Keiths hand and dragged him down the hall away from the garden. When they got to the end of the hall their was only Lances room. All of the other rooms around them were empty because it makes Lance feel better knowing that he was the only person who would be down that hall at night.

"What are we doing down here?" Keith asked visibly confused.

"You said I could show you something. Thats why we are down here."

"Oh."

Lance went up to a picture hanging on the wall, and moved it to the side. He looked at Keith and then went into the tunnel that was there. Keith went in right after him and froze when he saw three diffferent way to go. Lance closed the painting door behind Keith, making him jump.

"Eep.... you scared me."

"Sorry, but I dont want anybody else to know about this."

"I get that, but can you not even pretend to dissapeared on me again? You scared the quiznak out of me."

"Okay, I won't do that ever again but if you lose me cuz you can't keep up that's on you." Lance said with a smirk.
