Sidus stood in front of people in a dim room as a monitor buzzed. A three-dimensional replica of the city rotated in his palm. He soon tossed the replica in the air while it hovered. The people eyed the replica expanding in size when Sidus held a hand to the outer zones.
"Cinder Horizons, a wonderful place full of life and enriched cultures from across the multiverse." He paced back and forth. "When I came here this was a desolate rock aimlessly wandering in space. Now it's a booming city on the brink of evolution toward a brighter future!" Sidus extended his arms outward over the replica.
The people clapped at him when a knock on the door caught their attention. Sin stepped into the room and adjusted his shirt collar before rushing over to Sidus.
He leaned forward toward him. "Sir, the angel is coming into the city as we speak. My subordinate informed me while I was out earlier."
Sidus' eyes widened and he placed a hand on Sin's shoulder. "Then I believe it's time for an official meeting. Tell the others we're coming to the hideout."
"Understood, I'll go prepare for our departure while you wrap this up." Sin responded as he left the room.
Sidus switched off the replica and soon the room lit up. "Excuse me, I have an important matter to attend. I expect everyone here to offer plans on how to improve the outer zones." He said while chatter drowned him out.
Once he left the room, Sidus stepped down a row of stairs and met up with Sin. The two left the building and entered a black vehicle. Soon the vehicle lifted off into the air and drove off toward the north.
"I'm going to call the others since we'll be there shortly." Sin tapped away on his phone screen and kept driving.
Sidus slowly folded his arms and stared outside the window. They passed through a line of skyscrapers and other flying vehicles. His eyes glanced at a reflection of himself while he chuckled.
When Percy mentioned an angel of incredible power, I knew my work was going somewhere. And she's within the city so now my plans will play into motion.
Sidus closed his eyes while the phone rang. The engine hummed on until the ringing grew quiet. Soon images of the past flooded back to him and a bright flash engulfed him.

"Father, what are you doing?" A young Sidus asked.
His father faced him with a grim look. "I'm discussing war tactics with my generals, son. You know, political talks that you shouldn't concern yourself with." He shifted away from him.
Sidus bowed his head and exited the room while leaving the door slanted. He peeked through the crack when his father continued speaking.
"Right, sorry my son wanted attention. Now about those plans, I think the prisoners we capture should suffer instead of dying." His father rambled on. "It's all in the plan so allow me to explain..." He continued.
Sidus narrowed his eyes and whispered. "All in the plan."

Sidus opened his eyes to the phone ringing before it picked up. Sin gently pinched on the screen and the phone expanded in size.

"Hey, Sin." Rush answered the phone. "What's going on?"
"Rush, is everyone there? The boss wants to discuss plans about the angel." Sin replied while pulling to the side.
Rush nodded to him. "We're all here eating and with the guest too. So when will you be here?"
Sin cut the engine and opened the door. "Give us two minutes and we'll be inside." He turned his phone off.
