"What did you put in this steak!?" Lucy knocked the plate over as she stumbled and dropped utensils. "My body shouldn't be feeling like this..."
Her vision blurred while she held her head. The waiter slowly stepped toward Lucy as he swayed side to side. He brought out a pair of handcuffs and laughed.
"Was the steak not to your liking, outsider?" His voice distorted.
A chef stepped out of the kitchen and resembled a blobby mess. "I knew I should've added more sleeping powder but oh well."
Lucy's body trembled while a ringing sound blocked out the noise. Her heart raced as the distorted figure crept out of the booth. It stood between Lucy and the others when energy waves struck her.
"This isn't good. If you get caught now what will your friend think?" They asked with a slight chuckle
"I'm not getting caught!" Lucy shouted back.
She closed her eyes and inhaled slowly before sensing out auras. Two emerged from the darkness and she threw a punch. When Lucy opened her eyes, the waiter flew through a wall. Several plates broke along with metals hitting the floor. The chef pulled a butcher knife out and swung. He tore into her shirt before Lucy struck him in the gut with a kick.
"You guys suck! I'm taking my money back!" She struggled to reach the waiter and soon reached his body.
Her hands searched his pockets and grabbed a wad of bills. Lucy fled the restaurant and attempted to fly. Her wings grew stiff but she hovered off the ground. The distorted figure followed Lucy into the air as they flew near skyscrapers.
"What's your problem now? I can't focus much but of course, I can see you." Lucy huffed to herself.
The distorted figure laughed. "I'm always going to be near you, Lucy. You're a part of me and I must ensure you survive."
Lucy struggled to keep her eyes open and landed on a building. She noticed a door at the top and twisted the doorknob open. An old mattress laid in the room with ragged sheets strung out. Bugs crawled out from underneath it and scattered near her.
"Hmph, I guess I have no choice for tonight after being drugged." Lucy flopped onto the mattress and shut the door with her legs.
Once behind the covers, she closed her eyes tight and rested her head on a single pillow. The distorted figure snuck into her mind. They pointed to her and skipped like a glitch toward a horizon.
"Rest well, Lucy. You're going to need your strength for tomorrow." They held their arms out and vanished.
Lucy drifted off to sleep while images of Cheyanne emerged. She quickly reached out to them before they disappeared and a light flashed.
Cheyanne, I promise that I'll find you and make Percy pay!
Soon Lumenoia manifested from the light. "If you expect to make them pay, how will you do so without the light?"
I may not even need the light for this. You'll see once I get my hands on them... Lucy grew silent as she snored.

The star rose above the horizon with light greeting the skyscrapers. Rain died down while the wind grew quiet. Ignis squinted his eyes when the light reached his bedroom.
"Best out of... five hundred?" Maeve weakly asked.
Hazel shook her head. "No, I think we were at five hundred and ten...?" She yawned.
Ignis snickered to himself. They might be horny and hot but sharing isn't in their repertoire.
Suddenly the two fell by his side and closes their eyes while mumbling. Ignis eyed each one and soon rubbed his fingers together. Sparks flew out and snapped the ropes off. He soon untied the ropes from his feet before easing his way off the bed.
