She fell in love with his voice. The quietness of it, the smoothness of it. She fell in love with his voice over the phone. Because he would always pretend it was a walkie-talkie and shout, "Over!" after every sentence. She would say, "You're such a dork." And he would refuse to respond, then she'd give in and say, "Over."

She fell in love with his eyes. Because they would speak to her, because when she looked at him his eyes said, "I love you."

She fell in love with him in those early mornings. Those mornings where they would move against each other half awake. Where the soft creek of the bed and the quite moans she let out was their new wake up call, it was their new alarm clock. She fell in love those same morning when she'd make him breakfast out of whatever was in her kitchen. Because she could so easily come up with stuff off the top of her head so he'd make up names for the dishes and call her 'Mrs. Gordon Ramsey.'

She fell in love with his laugh. His laugh was her favorite sound. She could be in a bad mood and his laugh would cheer her up. She'd kiss him and swallow his laugh sometimes because the only thing that could stop him from laughing at that moment was her lips.

She fell in love with his smile, that huge smile where his teeth would show and his eyes would light up. That contagious smile that made everyone else smile. That smile after he would take a shower where he'd smell like aftershave and ocean wave shampoo.

She fell in love with him over the summer. They'd sit in the bed of his truck and fight off mosquitoes, or try to count the stars. She'd number them and he'd purposely start tickling her stomach to make her lose count. Those summers they spent at the lake or at county fairs where he'd illegally shoot of fireworks that would blow up halfway towards the sky.

She fell in love when he proposed. Because it was just any other day in the spring. And he wore this nice pale sweater that obviously itched and made him uncomfortable. And after dinner his neck was red because he kept scratching it. She fell in love when he got down on one knee and said, "Will you marry me?"

She fell in love when he told all their friends and family that she said yes, like she was the only thing he was proud of, and he would make a scene in front of random people, he would point and say, "My future wife!"

Jim gets an invitation shortly after they announce their engagement. The card is blue and the only words he can focus on is, "Anderson and Beesly"

He's glad she fell in love.

He just wishes she would've fallen in love with him.
