"Shes been in a car accident"
"come on we gotta go to the hospital" she says trying to stay calm.
"Im really sorry bri, I hope everything turns out ok. Text me" Nicolette says and she hugs me tightly, climbs in her white Camry and leaves.
Aunt kimba pulls me to her side and I wrap my arms around her waist pretending its mom, praying she will be okay.. She has to be okay right?

Aunt kimba drops me of I front of the hospital since she already saw mom and she had to get home.
I run into the hospital as fast as my feet could go, I finally find out what her room number is and run up the stairs.I head down the left side of the 5th floor. Room 534.. 535.. 536!
I run in as fast as possible and to her bedside, she is wearing an oxygen mask and has a bunch of tudes in her.
She looks at me with tears rolling down her cheeks and I hug her
"im sorry i didnt pick you up. Im so stupid. Please don't be mad at us for ruining your first day" she says and I climb into the hospital bed next to her and hold her tightly against me as she cries
"its okay. Things happen, it wasnt you're fault that you couldn't pick me up. And your not stupid at all. Chez I love you sooo much and I would never get mad at you for such a reason like that. Lets just forget about that.. How do you feel?" I hold my hand against my face and use my elbow to hold my head up and face cheryl
"Thanks pet and a little sore is all"
"where are you hurt that you had to come to the hospital?"
"Well, I have a decent sized cut across my ribs from the glass breaking and me hitting the steering wheel.. I was a little dizzy as well but I got stitches and a few needles in me" she says and she lifts her shirt and shows me the medium size cut stitched up across her lower stomach.
I kiss it gently and she smiles
"how did the accident happen?"
"Well I was on my way to pick you up after the meeting and I was turning at the light on the corner by the house and this small grey car came out of no where and hit us"
"oh, well im glad that you're okay. When aunt kimba pulled into the school parking lot I freaked out. I thought it was gonna be really bad, like surgery or amputations but thank god it wasn't. But even if It was I would still love you the same" I say and she smiles at me
"thanks pet, that means a lot. What happened in school today? You look upset"
"I had an issue with this one girl but thats it, it doesn't matter"
"yeah it does, can you please tell us. I wont be mad I promise" she says and I sigh
"alright but I have to get something from my backpack first" I say and grab the note Kaitlyn passed me. I lay back down next to her
"ok so this girl named Kaitlin gave me this note in science.. I'll let you read it but you can't take any of it to heart okay?" I say and she nods
"okay" I hand her the note and she unfolds it and I watch her eyes skim back and forth across the page and she frowns
"wow"
"yeah and I wrote that and when the teacher was not looking I threw it at the back of her head" I say pointing to my response and mom laughs
"you go bri"
"And then she said some other things that where really uncalled for so when the teacher left the room I told her off" I say and she hugs me tightly "im so proud of you".

The doctor walks in a few hours later
"alright ms cole, you can go home if you like" the doctor says and mom nods
"alright" the doctor takes the clip board and exists the room
"can you get my shoes?" Mom asks and I nod
"yeah here" I says and help her out them on
I gather all her stuff and help her out of the bed, we head out of the hospital and get into a taxi since moms car was destroyed.
We finally get home and I get her on the couch and put a blanket on her.
"Alright im gonna go do my homework upstairs" I say heading for the steps with my back pack "ok" mom says and I go up into my room and decide to text Nicolette and tell her what happened
M-me n-Nicolette
M-hey just wanted to let you know that she was in a minor car accident and I just brought her home. Thanks for before, I really appreciate it.
N-im so glad shes okay and np😊💕

N- yah me too, this homework is ridiculous😒😑

N-YAAAASSS, just asked my mom and she said yea. I'll be there in 20 if thats okay with you?

I quickly clean up my room and pick up all my stuff off the floor.
The door bell rings so I head downstairs and realize mom is asleep, I open the door and hug Nicolette "hey long time no see" I say sarcastically and she laughs.
We go upstairs and sit on my bed "wow you're room is gorgeous"
"thanks" I laugh and we decide to start homework just to get it over with.
"Hey I know this is a weird question but who is your new family" she asks putting away math homework
"Well I don't have a dad or siblings at the moment but my moms name is cheryl but I call her either 'chez' or 'mom'"
"Wait Kimberley walsh picked you up today and you call your mom "chez".. So you're mom is..."
"Hey pet" mom says walking in the room at perfect timing.
"Hey, this is Nicolette" I say introducing her.
"H-hi cheryl" she says in shock which makes me and mom laugh, mom climbs onto my bed and sits across from Nicolette
"im not gonna eat you or anything" she says trying to calm her down
Nicolette laughs "n-no its not that. Im just a h-huge fan" mom hugs her and I smile.
After a few mintues Nicolette gets a little more comfortable with mom and we are all just chatting In my room
"so were you guys friends last year?" Mom asks and we shake our heads
"no when I went to the mall, I ran Into her and Abril and we all decided to go shopping together" I say and she nods
"thats cool"
"my moms here, I'll see you tommorrow brianna and its was really nice meeting you cheryl" she says hugging both of us
"ok" I say and mom says "nice meeting you too".
We walk her out and after a few minutes of siting in the living room in silence me and mom decide to watch a movie
"what movie do you wanna watch?"
A movie instantly comes to mind "the unborn".
