Chapter 10

We go to the living room and watch grown ups 2

After the movie She tells me about how he broke into the house and took her and what he did to her. We talk until about 11 at night "you ready to go upstairs?" I ask and she nods sleepily.

I get off the couch and lift her up and carry her to my room and lay her under the covers. I climb in next to her and put my arms around her and she shuffles closer to me.

I wake up the next morning and shes still in my arms, I watch her sleep as I gently glide my finger on the bruise on her cheek.

She still looks gorgeous with no makeup and a bruised cheek, She can pull anything off and I have no idea how she does it.

I snap my self out of my thoughts and go downstairs and make scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast. I make 2 cups of coffee and put it all on a try and go upstairs into my bedroom and notice cheryl is already awake.

"Morning babe" I say sitting next to her on the bed "morning" she says smiling lightly at me

"Feel any better?" I ask as we eat

"A little bit but me middle still hurts pretty bad"

I nod, When we finish breakfast I put the trey on the end table "do you mind if I check your stomach?" I say

"go ahead" she says sprawling out on the bed

I lift her shirt "where exactly is the pain" I say looking at her stomach which now has a few light bruises around her rib cage and a 3 inch long slice across her rib cage

"right here" she says placing my hand in the right lower part of her stomach

I put a little bit of pressure on it and Cheryl flinches "OWWW" she yells and I quickly remove my hand

"sorry babe"

We hang out in my room watching movies till about 8:00 and decide to order Chinese food for dinner. The food comes within 20 minutes and we sit at the table and eat.

After we eat we take showers and change into pjs and head to bed

I put my arms around her middle and she flinches, I decide that since I cant really touch her I hold both her hands in mine and sleep takes over.
