The handcuffs stinged the woman's wrists from the tightness, everything was silent and no one had said a word since the federal vehicle had left the warehouse. Sage threw her head backwards in attempt to get strands of hair out of her face, which worked for the most part, when her eyes finally met her boyfriends who was sitting a short distance away from her, she gave him a weak smile which made a wave of relief hit Dom

As the vehicle roamed the uneven streets of Rio it shook side to side which made everyone also shake unsteadily, Hobbs picked up the phone and placed it by his ear, humming a few times as if he'd listened to the other end of the
line "Yeah, we're comin' in now have the marshals meet us at the airport when we land"

After Hobbs's words it once again, fell silent and the team exchanged glances every so often "Ambush!" Time for any reaction wasn't even available seeing that the vehicle infront of theirs exploded and flipped off of the road, Hobbs immediately brought the walkie talkie to his mouth "Wilkes, suppressing fire, shut 'em down!"

"Watch them" Hobbs and the driver jumped out of the vehicle and started shooting down the uncountable goons on the roofs of the favelas

Despite the distractions outside, majority of the shooting was still directed at the vehicle where the team was, Brian shifted in his seat and looked at Elena with desperate eyes "Cut us loose! Come on"

Dom and Sage were the ones that didn't move a muscle and didn't say a word, Elena still looking at the oldest Torreto for reassurance

When Elena cut the team loose they all jumped out of the vehicle but quickly ducked when they saw two grenades land on the ground not to far from them, Sage's hearing got completely blocked when they exploded, leaving her with a unbearable ringing sound in her ears

She pushed the dizzy feeling away and ran for the closest weapon, she grabbed what appeared to be a AK-12 and started shooting down Reyes's men that were closing in on them, Brian, Dom, Vince and Elena doing the same. Mia agreed to stay put for safety reasons

"Sage! Behind you!" Vince yelled at the top of his lungs but the womans reaction seemed to be too late, before she could even turn around she felt a striking pain on her right shoulder, Sage tried to let out a yelp but it came out as a silent one whilst the bullet caused the woman's sudden loss of strength which made her fall to the ground, thankfully Vince shooting the man responsible before he could harm the woman any further

Dom hadn't noticed that his girlfriend had been shot until Vince indicated it, the Torreto's eyes widened and he immediately ran over to Sage somehow not getting hit by the wave of bullets "No, you should go– please" Sage huffed her words but they were completely ignored by Dom who picked her up carefully and returned to the vehicle aswell as the rest of the team

The woman muttered profanities as she stared at the wound which was being worriedly examined by Dom, "I'm fine, I'm fine" She reassured her boyfriend, even if it wasn't true at all, she felt light headed and the wound was throbbing from the agony

"Hey, Dom" Vince muttered which made the Torreto take his eyes off of his girlfriend and turn to Vince, "Oh, god" Sage whispered basically inaudibly before her eyes forced to close and her body slump and fall towards Dom's her head hitting her boyfriend's shoulder, she had passed out.
