and make sure I learn to stand,
where moments ago I was on the floor.
You hold me close
without ever touching me,
until the rhythm of your heart beating
is the only sound I can hear.
You make me smile,
and laugh,
when seconds ago I was crumbling.
You walk right in
and make everything better.
Everything, when with you,
is perfect.
