Chapter 12 Ashlyn and Aurora

*Ashlyn's p.o.v*

Aurora texted me asking if I could come over and stay the night. My mom didn't care and said she would pick me up after she got off work. I text her back saying I'd be there in a bit.

*skips car ride*

I got to her house and let myself in because I was like family there so they didn't mind. I walked in and I hear Aurora singing. I followed her voice to her room and just stand at her door listening to her.

I love it when she sings, she has such an amazing voice. She doesn't think so but she's wrong. I waited till the song was over and I applauded her. She turned around and smiled.

Aurora- Hey Ashlyn I didn't hear you come in.

Ashlyn- That's okay I let myself in. I didn't want to intrude your beautiful singing voice. I wish you would sing in front of people. They'd love your voice.

Aurora- You're funny but you know how I feel about being in front of a group of people.

Ashlyn- I know, but you still have an amazing voice.

Aurora- I Lopez you!

Ashlyn- I Lopez you too!

I Lopez our crazy friendship. I mean seriously we say Lopez instead of love because we were both texting each other and one of us had to go so she meant to text me that she loved me but instead it came out as Lopez and ever since then that's what we've been saying.

Aurora- anyway I'm glad you're here because I totally need to tell you what happened between Quinton and I!

She said squealing with happiness. I've never seen her this happy before. I mean I make her happy but not this kind of way.

Ashlyn- Ooo!! What happened!?

Aurora- Well.. We were texting and..

*Skips whole conversation about Quinton and Aurora*

Ashlyn- OMG!! NO WAY!? He told you he was in love with you!!!?

Aurora- YASS!!

Ashlyn- Oh Aurora I'm so happy for you!! That's reminds me. Zach texted me.

Aurora- Really? What happened?

*Skips whole conversation about Zach and Ashlyn*

Aurora- So basically he's like in love with you too!!??

Ashlyn- Yeah.

Aurora- This is like perfect. Quinton loves me, I love him. Zach loves you and you love him! Could this get any better?!

The rest of the day and night that's all we talked about was Quinton and Zach. We laughed and smiled. I'm seriously really lucky to have a best friend like Aurora she's always been there for me since day one. I wouldn't trade her for anyone else in the world.

*Aurora's p.o.v*

I asked Ashlyn if she could stay the night and she said she'd be over in bit. As I was waiting for her arrival I put on some music and sang. I must have been singing pretty loud because after I finished I didn't know she was there listening to me the whole time.

She clapped her hands and smiled at me. She kept telling me how I needed to sing in front of people, but I can't. Long story. Anyway, we sat down on my bed and I explain everything to her about Quinton and i's conversation.

She freaked out. It was funny because I knew she was really happy for me. After i finished up explaining everything she told me about her and Zach's conversation.

I freaked out also because the same thing happened to the both of us. Our crushes fell in love with us. As she finished explaining the rest of the night Ashlyn and I just sat on my bed listened to some Mayday Parade and La Dispute and kept talking about Quinton and Zach.

I honestly don't know what I'd do without her. Since day one we've both been there for each other. I wouldn't trade her for anyone else in the world.
