Chapter 26 Part 1

Aurora's p.o.v

It's Saturday morning I'm awoken from Shawn kissing me on my cheek.

S- Good morning my queen.

A- Good morning love.

S- I have a surprise for you tonight.

A- Really!? What is it!?

S- You'll see tonight my love.

He then kissed me and got out of bed. I stayed in bed for a little bit longer because I was to tired to get up. I was about to get up when Shawn walks back in the room with a breakfast trey.

A- Babe you didn't have to.

S- But I wanted to because you deserve to be treated like the queen you are.

I love him. He's amazing to me I don't know what I'd do without him.

I finish eating and get dressed into my high wasted shorts with my Wiz belly shirt and texted Ashlyn asking if she wanted to hang out. She's still trying to get Zach back which I don't understand. He hurt her, she's hurt him. I don't even know.

I've been trying to get her and Nash together because he really likes her, but she's been hooked up on Zach.

I hear her pull up and grabbed my phone and wallet and gave Shawn a quick kiss and left.

Ashlyn- So what's up? Where are we going?

Aurora- Lets go get some drinks and go to the beach or we could go penny boarding. We just need to talk Ashlyn.

She knew what I wanted to talk about because she gave this 'we really gonna get into that subject' sorta look and I just smiled back at her.

We parked at the beach and just sat in her truck for a bit.

Aurora- I know this is something you don't want to talk about but we have to.

Ashlyn- Aurora why does it matter?

Aurora- Because I don't like to see you hurt and you don't like to see me hurt. But you can do so much better than Zach you've both hurt each other and I just want you to be happy.

Ashlyn- I don't even know Aurora who could ever like me other than zach?

Aurora- I do! I've been trying to set you two up since months past with you and Zach's break up. Nash!? Remember him yeah he likes you Ashlyn but you don't give him a fucking chance because you're too hooked up on Zach!! It's time to open your eyes and get the fuck over Zach!! He isn't worth your time anymore!!!

She just looked at me. I know what I said might have hurt but it was true and she needed to hear that. Maybe now she'll open her eyes and move on. She's my best friend and I want her happy.

Things were silent on the ride home. It was almost time for me to get ready and go on my date with Shawn. I remember him telling me he had a surprise and I am still curious on what is it.

He texted me telling me to dress nice so I did. It was around 7 when I finished and he walked in the house with some flowers. He smiled at me.

Shawn- Are you ready love?

Aurora- ready as ever.

He grabbed my hand and lead me to the car and backed out of the drive way and left to wherever we were going.
