Chapter 15

*Aurora's p.o.v*

I wake up to the sound of my door being slammed. I sit up and see that it's Ashlyn.

Ashlyn- OMG!! OMG!!! YOU ARE NEVER GONNA BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED!!!!

Aurora- Well no. I just woke up.

Ashlyn- haha sorry about that..

Aurora- You're good I needed to wake up.

Ashlyn- Well are you ready to hear what I have to tell you?

Aurora- All ears.

She sat there for awhile with this big smile in her face. What made her so happy? It took her awhile to finally ease up her smile and finally tell me.

Ashlyn- Zach asked me out!!

Aurora- Omg Ashlyn I'm so happy for you!!

Ashlyn- Thanks!

Aurora- Took him long enough.

I told her with a smile. She was happy. I've never seen her so happy before. I like it. I love to know that my best friend is happy with someone that will treat her respectfully and won't hurt her again.

Again. Ashlyn and I still can't get over about what happened at the movies. I know She hasn't forgotten because she'll talk about something about the boys and then...

*Quinton's p.o.v*

I'm scrolling through my phone like I always do when I wake up just to see I'd Aurora has texted me. She hasn't so she must still be asleep or something. Oh well she'll text me when she does I hope. I don't want to text her and wake her up.

Anyway, Zach came over last night with this huge smile going across his face. We went to the kitchen because I was hungry and needed food and that's when he explained everything.

Z- Bro I asked Ashlyn out.

Q- So that's why you got a smile across your face big enough it looks like the cats smile off of Alice in Wonderland. Haha

Z- Funny. But seriously I'm glad I did.

Q- If you're happy with her then I'm happy for you bro.

Z- Thanks. So when do you plan on asking Aurora out?

Q- I don't know. I just don't want to ask to soon and her say no..

Z- That's what I was afraid of too, but look where I am. Don't let the fear of it keep you from asking her. You love her.

Q- Yeah. You're right but I still want to wait.

The conversation ended and we ate.

Zach was right though. If I let the thought of her saying no to me then I won't ever get the chance to ask her out. I mean I will but I still feel like it's too soon.

I do love Aurora and I will make her mine one of these days.

*Zach's p.o.v*

I'm at my best friends/bros house. He was on his phone and I was too. We both got hungry and went to the kitchen to get food. I explained to him how I asked Ashlyn out and everything and he was telling me about Aurora and how he really likes her and wants to ask her out as well.

Quinton is one the most caring people I know. I mean I would know that because he's always helped me and had my back most times. Yeah we have fights here and there but we always find a way to work it out. He's always had my back and I'll forever have his.

Anyway back to the whole him and Aurora thing. He was explaining how if he asked her out now she would say no because he thought it was too soon. I stated that if he were to keep thinking that then it would just keep him from asking her out even more. He knew I was right just by his facial expression.

He loved her. I've never seen him love a girl this much before. It's different with him and Aurora. He actually has a real smile. I can tell it's real by the why it shines and the his eyes light up too.

Whatever he decides do too I'll be with him through the whole thing. Cause he would do the exact same for me.
