Jesy POV:

"Come on in guys, " Tulisa said, opening the door and gesturing for us to follow her in. After putting her stuff down, she came back and helped me maneuver to her couch.

I had been given crutches for the next few weeks and while I could use them perfectly fine, I never turned down help.

"Why don't you girls take your bags and get set up in your room while I make dinner? It's the first door on the right."

"Ok. Thanks, Tulisa."

After twenty minutes, Tulisa came and sat next time on the couch. She had a half-filled glass of wine and her hair up in a messy bun.

"So Jesy, " she said, setting her glass down and turning to me. "Where did you learn how to sing?"

"You've heard me sing?" I couldn't help the slight pink tinting my cheeks.

"Yes, I have. I heard you that night in the hospital. Your voice is lovely."

"Thanks, Tulisa. I used to sing with my mom before she left. She was into all of these different bands like Orion, Faux Pas, and Rhythmix."

"It sounds like you grew up around good music."

"Yeah. Mom loved music. She would play it all the time. While cleaning, cooking, even just sitting on the couch, " I explained while smiling even though the memories hurt.

Tulsa reached over and grabbed my hand, giving it a comforting squeeze. I looked up and smiled at her. At that moment, the oven timer dinged and Tulisa got up to get the food.

"Girls, " I called while propping myself up on my crutches. "Dinner's ready."

A squeal of excitement that could only belong to Perrie was heard as she ran to the table with a much less eager Leigh-Anne.

"Jade come on I'm hungry, " Perrie called from her spot at the table. I shook my head as I sat next to her.

"Calm down Pez. You won't die of starvation."

"You don't know I might. Jade, hurry up, " she shouted for the older girl.

"I'm coming, " Jade said, finally leaving the room.

"I hope not," I said, chuckling to myself and causing the other girls to laugh too.

Tulisa cleared her throat her we looked at her. She had a raised eyebrow that instantly made us stop laughing.

When Jade finally took a seat at the table Tulisa started putting food on each of our plates. We sat around the table eating and laughing for the rest of the night.

~the next morning~

I get out of bed at 6:30 and manage to get ready with my crutches. My girls are still asleep, which is no surprise seeing how comfy this bed is.

I make my way out to the kitchen to get breakfast started. It's about the only meal I can make without screwing up.

"Tulisa, what are you doing up?" I say, surprised since I'm not used to anyone being up at this time.

"I could ask you the same question. What are you doing out of bed?"

"I was going to make the girls breakfast."

"That's alright. I've got it, " she says, waving me off dismissively.

"You don't have to do that, Tulisa. I can do it."

"Jesy I want to do this plus you can't do anything with crutches. Now you go get settled on the couch."

I sigh and make my way to the couch. I know there's no point arguing with Tulisa. Plus, mornings are hectic enough without me having to make breakfast.
