Jesy POV:

"Come on, Jesy you're up next, " Enya said. I got up and walked to the center of the room. "We're going to be working on fire production today, so we won't be needing a room change."

"This part is simple. All you have to do is hold out your hand and imagine the fire there."

I held out my hand and thought of a fire being there. All I could feel was the slight warming of my hand but nothing else. I tried again and only got the same reaction.

"Ok, how about this. Don't focus on the fire. Focus on your emotions. These powers are as much about emotions as they are about control, " Enya suggested. "Close your eyes and try focusing on the people you love."

I followed her instructions and closed my eyes.

"Think about Jade." At the mention of the small brunette, I smiled and felt my body warm.

"Good, now think about Perrie, " Enya said while a picture of the blonde flashed in my mind.

"You're almost there, Jesy. Now think about Leigh-Anne." A memory of the usually excited girl filled my mind.

"Finally, think about Kehlani and how much you love her, " Enya said, making my heart sink and mind stop.

"What did you say?" I whispered to the goddess who was looking at me confused. "Is this about Kehl-."

"Don't say her name, " I said louder, cutting Enya off.

"Jes, who's Kehlani?" an innocent Leigh-Anne asked behind me. With no explanation, I turned on her.

"No one, now drop it. I don't want to hear another word about her from any of you, " I yelled at the girls who were backing away from me.

"Jesy, you're on fire, " Perrie said in a small shaky voice from where she was hiding behind Leigh-Anne and Jade.

I looked down at my arms, and sure enough, they were engulfed in flames. I couldn't feel them, which is probably why I hadn't realized.

"Enya, help me. How do I put them out, " I said frantically, turning to her.

"All you need to do is take a deep breath and imagine the flames becoming apart of you, " Enya said calmly. I took a breath and did as Enya said.

When I opened my eyes again, the flames were gone. Realizing that I could no longer hurt anyone, I ran out of the training room towards the room I remember Claud saying was mine.

With tears clouding my vision, I didn't see Tulisa and Claud walking down the hall until I bumped into Tulisa. "Woah Jesy, are you ok? And why is your skin so hot?"

Needing to be alone, I pushed past them and kept going. After a minute, I saw the four doors Claud had pointed out when we first entered.

Walking up to the red-lined door, I entered and leaned my back against the closed door. I slid down until I hit the floor and let the tears go.

Enya POV:

I walked over to where the other guides were gathered after Jesy ran out, who were now all watching the rest of the girls and Tulisa and Claud, who had just entered.

"Aria and Gaia, it looks like your kids are continuing your legacy, " I said, drawing attention to the two girls leaning on each other across the room.

Jade had her head leaned against Leigh-Anne's shoulder while Leigh-Anne had her head resting in Jade's. It reminds me so much of Aria and Gaia back then and even now.

"You know how it works with the earth and sky, Enya. Whether it be a romantic or platonic relationship, they are always drawn to each other, " Nayeli said.

"She keeps me grounded, " Aria said, looking at Gaia with love.

"And she helps remind me to let go every now and then, " Gaia said, returning the same look.

"Ok, " I said, interrupting the moment. "I'm going to go check on Jesy now that she's calm."

At the mention of their friend, the remaining three girls surrounded me, all asking questions simultaneously.

"Is she ok?"

"How, do you know she's calm?"

"Who's Kehlani?"

"To answer all your questions. She'll be ok. I can sense her emotions since we're bonded, and it's up to her to tell you about Kehlani, " I said as I pointed to each girl. "Now I've got to go."

I faded out of the room before I could be hit with any more questions. I focused on Jesy's mind and allowed my energy to find it.

"How did you know, " Jesy asked as I appeared in front of her.

"We're bonded, remember. I have access to your memories, " I replied, walking over and sitting down next to her.

"So you know what happened then, " Jesy started more than asked.

"I do and I'm very sorry."

"Thanks but sorry won't change anything."

"Do you still go see her, " I asked, breaking the silence that came over us.

"Yeah, every month, even though I'm allowed to go more often, " Jesy replied quietly. "Um Enya, can I just be alone right now? I need to think or something."

"Yeah. I'll send someone to bring your ring, though. I'm sorry Jesy. I didn't know how you would react. Even though we're bonded, your emotions are all your own."

"It's fine. You didn't know, " Jesy said, meeting my eyes for the first time. I nodded and then faded out, heading back to the training room.

Tulisa POV:

"And then she just ran out, " Perrie said, finishing her explanation of what happened to Jesy.

"I'm pretty sure she was crying too, " Jade said.

"Yeah she bumped into me in the hall and she looked about ready to cry."

"I wonder who Kehlani is, though, " Leigh said, voicing all of our thoughts. "Enya knows but she won't tell us."

As if summoned, Enya appeared in the room and began walking towards us. "One of you needs to take Jesy her ring, " she said.

"I can take it, " Perrie said, standing up.

"No, I can. You guys need to keep training, " I said, stopping Perrie's movement towards the ring.

"Make sure she's ok for us, please, " Jade said with pleading eyes.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure she's ok." I walked over to the wall and grabbed the ring from its panel, making Enya fade away.

I sent the girls a reassuring smile before heading towards the bedrooms I saw Jesy run to.

"Jesy, " I said, knocking on her door. "It's Tulisa. I've got your ring."

The door opened and I was met with Jesy's tear-stained face. I opened my arms, and her smaller frame was in my arms in an instant.

"Tulisa, please don't go," she choked out between her heart stabbing sobs.

"I won't. I promise I'm not going anywhere."
