This is kind of a spoiler so if you don't want to know what has happened to Chloe's kidnapper please skip this chapter!:)
The kidnapper will have Peduncular hallucinosis it's where you hallucinate what you think is real for a few minutes so he'll also have a bipolar disorder that makes up for the minutes where he's not hallucinating. Peduncular hallucinosis is also when you are hallucinating something familiar. So his backstory would be that him and his sister got kidnapped and he had to watch all the stuff that he does to chloe through his sister. Who coincidentally looks like her. He saw Chloe when she was young and her youthness and innocence reminded him of his sister. Therefor he started hallucinating the whole life he had to live. Chloe won't be his first victim though. She's probably the third.
