It’s been a long ass week, a really long tiring as fuck week but also my best week in a very long time. The hospital, doctors, interns, patients have been so pleasant that I had a genuine smile half  the time. There was still discrimination being a person of color and all but Manchester compared to London is like Pepperoni Pizza compared to Pineapple Pizza. Compare it.

It’s Friday evening and I have no call until Sunday night, fina-fucking-lly. I mean I love my job but girl need sometime to breathe.

Mark and I have grown so close. He’s a pleasant kid. And his relationship with Spencer is so cute. Those two are more like best friends than a couple but then your partner should be your best friend not that I’m a relationship expert.

I haven’t seen Daisy or the guys much this week. But that’s about to change as I arrive at Daisy’s and meet them. They seem to be planning to go out judging from their outfit. They all look good and yes including him.

“Hey guys”, I say closing the door. They all turn.

Daisy smiles, “there’s my doctor girlfriend”

I smile at her and I turn to see him staring at me causing me to look away immediately.
Why does he do that?

Sam walks towards me and pecks my cheek which has been his constant practice this past week not that I mind before handing me a cup of tea. I smile at him. I love him, he’s so precious.

“Hey, baby”, Jeremy says smiling creepily at me looking me up to down.

Fucking pervert.

He's lucky he's Daisy pal.

I give him one of my signature smiles. He winks back causing me to roll my eyes.

There is silence afterwards. Should I say hello first? Ugh.
Why can't he say something first? Why does it have to be me?

“Ooh, the sexual tension”, Daisy says.

What?

“I know, right? Just kiss already”, Sam says.

What are they talking about?

There is no sexual tension.

Who are they even talking about?

“So, where are you guys up to?” I ignore their delusions. Se-sex-sexu-ewww

Daisy snorts and rolls her eyes.

“We’re going to a party and you are coming with us”

No, nope.

“Sorry, babes but imma need to sit this one out”

I don’t necessarily hate parties but I don’t like it either. I mean why would I want to get high and feel like shit in the morning or wake up in some stranger’s bed?

Victoria, you're just boring.
True but my point still stands.
“Yes, girl yes you are. And you’re about to get laid by some insanely hot dude since you won’t hook up with Lucas”.

I roll my eyes and glare at her. Girl really said no beating around the bush; let’s hit it right on the head.

If he was the last dude on this blue earth, I still wouldn’t have sex with him.

You sure about that?

Shut it.

“Whatever, still no have fun”
