Noah

I was pissed to say the least. This girl had already caused issues with my family, and now my brother rots in a cell because of a damn kiss he shared with her. We had intel that told us she was with the twins and that wasn't good. The prophecy I had been told most of my life told us that a Fallen would be the demise of the world as we knew it. When I killed her father, I was surprised he refused to give up where Ivy was hiding. It was admirable that he loved her and his unborn child that much that he was willing to die for them. I never met a demon who put the needs of another ahead of their own gains, that in essence they were capable of love.

As a Guardian, we were told that those of the underworld weren't capable of such things as love or compassion. Xavier did, as much as it pained me to kill him. I had my orders. I could see the love he had for Ivy, for his unborn. It resonated in his eyes when I tortured him for their where a bouts. No matter what I did he refused. His last words to me before I killed him still plagued me.

"My silence will haunt you, no matter what you do I will never betray my heart's desire."

I laid in bed running that statement through my head over and over again. The demon was right. I was haunted by his words. His eyes, the love he harbored for Ivy, and his child was something I could only dream of. I looked over at my wife as she slept soundly. Well, wife might be a term I use loosely. We were an arranged marriage and sadly we never found the love that Xavier and Ivy found. We had an arrangement that we could see whomever we wanted as long as we were discreet about it and played the happy in love couple in public. In some ways I was jealous of what he had.

Luckily, we've never been able to have kids. I would hate to bring them up in this kind of environment. I slowly got out of bed and decided to see my brother. I need to knock some sense into him before he's banished or worse. He thinks we have the prophecy wrong. Who knows, it happens all the time, but the elders won't listen to us even if we could show them proof we have it wrong. Stubborn men. They would rather let shit go sideways before admitting they got it wrong.

When I walk into the cells my brother is seated on the cot, his head in his hands. He looks defeated. It hurts to see him in such pain. "Brother." He lifts his head. I can see the dark circles under his eyes from not sleeping. "Brother." I stand next to his cell leaning against the bars. "How are you doing?" He shakes his head. "How do you think? Tired, it's not very comfortable in here." I hear movement behind me, I see Deava come to the cell bars. Her long black hair disheveled, her face showed her beauty even under all the grim, her eyes were deep chocolate with hints of gold, her clothes tattered, and covered in dirt. Even in such a state, she was a beautiful woman, even if she was a demonic spawn of Satan himself. "Any word on when I get to go home, Guardian?" I shook my head and glared. "I told you, not till we find Callie and kill her." She huffed. "Well hurry it up. I'm in a desperate need of a shower and a good moisturizer." I can't believe what I'm hearing. "You really are vain, aren't you?" She rolls her eyes as she places her hands on her hips. "It comes with the territory of being the Princess of Pride. At least I don't hide who and what I am. Your boy there has the hots for that girl and yet won't admit it." Eric storms to the cell bars and spats at her. "It's not like that you wench. Yes, she's attractive but she has so many years of being told she's not worthy of love and being screwed over that she doesn't believe she should have anyone love her." My brother the optimist. The man who still wants to believe that even though she's picked the twins that the fact her family and mine had agreed to their union before she was even a thought. It's the reason he has a bond with her. However, I needed to call him on his bullshit. "You're telling me had I not come when I did you wouldn't have bedded her?" He glanced down unable to look at me. I knew the answer before I asked it. "I, I, yes I probably would have." I crossed my arms and glared down at my brother. "Exactly." The demonic spawn had to chime in. As much as I hated her, her voice had a velvet tone when she spoke. "You Guardians are a joke. You sit up in here on your perches, preaching love, truth, justice and understanding and yet you don't practice what you preach." I wheeled around on her. "Shut up! You don't know anything!" She stepped back away from the bars and smirked at me. "Hit a nerve it appears. Guess married life isn't all its' cracked up to be." I reach through her cell bars and grab her by her throat and squeeze. I hear her gasping, as her hands clawed at my hand as I tighten my grip. She starts to laugh and gasp at the same time. This bitch is crazy. I release her as she falls to the ground gasping for air. "You aren't worth it." I walk back to Eric's cell. "Noah, you need to tell them to let me out. I can find her. Please."

As much as I would like to help him, I know the elders. They have no intention of letting him out, not when he had feelings for Callie. Deava laughs from the ground where she is hunched over trying to compose herself. "You won't find her. If I know my family, she's hidden deep in the pits. They won't risk her till they are sure she can protect herself or..." She trails off and lets out a loud cackle. "How long has she been off the radar?" I look at Eric and back her. "A month maybe. Why?" She leans back against the wall of the cell. Amusement plays on her face. "You all are so screwed." I grip my hands, frustrated with this woman. "Why is that demon?" She looked up at me with a gleam in her eye. "If they follow royal protocol, she would have been gifted her power by my father. Within, a couple of days we are usually sent up to start welding our powers and collecting souls under strict supervision. More than likely, they are preparing for the wedding and coronation. If she's hasn't been seen, it's a strong possibility she's pregnant." No. That's not possible. I looked at Eric whose eyes told me that it was very possible. "We would have known. The elders would have sensed the shift." Deava let out a sadistic laugh. "You really don't have any idea how we work do you. If she's gifted, it would block your so-called elders from finding out. You guys are dumbasses. If she's who you think she is, you all are fucked. Oh, I can't wait to find out!" She clasps her hands together and giggles. Eric reaches out and grabs my arm. "She has a point. If you haven't seen her, there is a really good possibility." The she devil stands and walks back to her cot and lays down. "Oh, it's highly probable. My brothers fuck like rabbits. They normally have four to five girls a day, multiple times. I mean seriously they are the Princes of Greed and Lust. How dumb are you guys?" Shit. She had a point.

Callie

The king gifted me my powers in front of the council about two weeks after the incident with Ivan. Dante and Dameon's uncle still sat in a cell in the dungeons. Even with some special collar he was able to get into my dreams every so often. I would wake up screaming. The twins were always there and comforted me. I worried that Ivan could escape and come after me. However, they had assured me that he couldn't escape and they would never allow him to get to me. They said the cells were impenetrable. I hope they are right.

The twins have been showing me how to use my powers. They won't let me go up yet knowing I'm being hunted by the Guardians. To think that I almost had sex with one made me angry. The twins have kept me busy in that department too. Every day, I woke up to one or both of them pleasuring me, ending up with the best sex I've ever had.

I am sitting in the living area reviewing requests from people wishing for my help. It's easier than I expected. The twins have been sending people up in my place to speak with those who wish to have my help. Once I look over everything, I put together their contract and they send it up to be signed and then I do my thing, with a slight twist of course.

Dante and Dameon have offered to help me find Chris my ex. Having him sign his soul over to the twins would mean he would be indebted to them; however, they have already said they will sign his soul over to me as a gift. I already have so many ways to make him pay, one is to be the new toy for a minitour that I've recently befriended. Imagine a horse trying to mate with a dog and that's what Chris will be enduring till I say otherwise.

"Hey Princess." Dameon came up behind me and kissed my neck. "Hello, love." I leaned my head back to kiss him. "Working hard I see." I put the contracts I was working on down. "Yes, I was just finishing." He looked over at the pile next to me. "You know we have an office to do all this." I pulled my knees up to my chest. "I know but it's your space, I don't want to invade your personal space." Dameon sits down next me taking me into his lap. His hands taking my face as he makes me look at him. "Princess, this is your home too. Are you happy here?" My eyes cast down. "I know. It's just weird for me to be in there, its full of your things, and yes I am happy. I just miss my friends."

Dameon laid back running his hands over his face. He glanced back up at me still in his lap. He took a deep breath and shook his head. "Go get changed." I hesitated as I sat on his lap. "Why?" His hands went up my thighs and gripped my hips. "We're going to see your friends, against my better judgement but you have been sulking for the last week. If it brings a smile to your face, it will be worth it. I can't stand to see you like this." I squeal and throw my arms around his neck and kiss him. "Thank you, Dameon!" He smiles as I climb off his lap and race upstairs to get ready.

All I can think of isseeing Roxy. I missed her so much and I'm sure she's going to be pissedthat I haven't reached out to her. It's not like I can tell her I'm halfdemon, half angel and say that I'm getting married to Dameon and Dante and thatthey are the future rulers of Hell. Yeah, I don't think so. Hell,I'd check me into the closest mental hospital in all honesty.
