Eric

When Noah gave me my assignment, I had no idea that it was her. All the information said was that I was to watch the objective, make contact and keep her away from the Black brothers. I knew the moment I saw her who she was, and what she was. I was going to kill Noah! My brother must be laughing his ass off as I sit here waiting for her to look up from what she's doing. She is gorgeous. When she looked up at me, I gave her a smile. I could see she faltered just a little when she looked up at me. She quickly regained her composure and asked me for my drink order. When she turned to grab my beer from the cooler, I couldn't help but admire her peach shaped ass in her tight jeans. She set the drink down and gave me a smile that woke something in me, and I mean all of me if you catch my drift. I knew if I didn't leave than I would be in major trouble. I grabbed the pen off the bar and wrote my name and number for her and turned and left. I knew she was interested in me. It came with the territory, but I wasn't allowed to have physical relationships with our objectives. Even if this one was different. This one would definitely test me. I just needed to keep her away from the twins. If I failed it could be disastrous.

It was Sunday evening, and I was sitting in my living room when I heard a knock at my door. I knew who it was before he came bursting through my door. "So, how'd it go?" I looked up at him from my glass. "Well just come on in. Ok, I guess. Oh, and when were you going to tell me it was Callie?" He waked past me to my kitchen and grabbed a beer and threw me a water. "You know boss will need an update by the end of the week." I sat back and ran my hands through my hair. It was like he was avoiding the question. "I know. This one is going to be tricky. The twins aren't just anyone." He nodded as he sat back. We had both had our run in with the Black twins. We were also one of the few to still alive to talk about it too. "I know that's why they gave you the job. They said do whatever you needed to keep her away from the twins without exposing yourself and of course not breaking the rules." I shake my head. Boy do the Elders have a sick sense of humor. "Thanks for the reminder, Noah. Oh, and that won't make my job any easier." I can't keep the sarcasm from dripping from my lips. "You know she's out with them now." He says as he tips back the last of his beer. "I'm aware. They moved faster than we expected." I stood up and walked to grab my jacket sitting on the back on the chair. Noah stood and placed his hand on my shoulder. "I know this isn't easy little brother. I'll be back Friday for a report. Please give me something to take back to them." I grab my leash and call for Ghost. "I will. Good night brother." He shakes his head and squeezes my shoulder. "Just be careful Eric. She's the key to keeping the peace. We need her just as bad as the twins. Just watch your back." He pats me on my back as he walks with me to the door. "I can do this brother." He nods and leaves. I hook the leash into Ghosts collar and leave to find our objective.

I stood in the tree line and watched as they tried to seduce her. From here I could see it was working. Anger flooded through me as I watched them kiss her if she only knew. I shook my head, I had to do something and needed to do it quickly. I looked down at Ghost. He was an all-white Husky/Malamute with blue eyes. He was all fur and a big wet nose, and only two years of age. He was laying down watching a lizard crawl by him. I took his leash off his collar and gave him the command. In that moment he bounded towards Callie and the twins. I could hear her giggle as Ghost licked her climbing on her lap, and the anger that flooded through the twins. They were definitely pissed. She caught my eyes as I stood there, and I smiled as I started to walk through the trees walking along the water's edge towards them.

As expected, the twins were pissed, however, Callie seemed to be enjoying herself. "Ghost! Come here boy!" He jumps off her and bounces over to me as I clip his leash back on.
