I am a weapon.
That's what Hydra had drilled into her mind. She was meant to...

March 1945 United States of America
Rosemary had been on the run for about three weeks. The first two days she spent it robbing supplies from an army base that had stationed near ex-Hydra's headquarters to heal her wounds.
Acting as a combat nurse she had managed to escape to Italy staying in a small town, but Hydra agents had found her. She had to kill some of them before moving further to the west.
Finding herself in a country that was still occupied by Nazis brought too many memories that she didn't want to face (even though she felt the freedom of Italy from the Nazis was only a couple of months away). Therefore, she decided to head to France knowing that there were troops guarding the borders of the country, aware of the risk she took considering there was already a Hydra base in the making.
When she reached France she hadn't eaten in days, for she didn't want to steal from anyone. She joined a group of people that had been escaping from Italy who thankfully found a married couple that was housing refugees. They gave them food and a place to rest but she was always watching for any danger, as were the other refugees. She didn't stay long despite the safety of the house.
Being on the run, Rosemary didn't risk looking for paper to draw and get stuck in a trance sketching whatever appeared on her mind, which meant her headaches were getting worse, there were times images popped against her will into her mind, it happened when her power was kept at bay for too long or when it wanted to show her many urgent things and she wasn't complying, adding to her migraines. One of the flashes was of agents near the place she was staying in. Making sure the group she had been travelling moved to a safer place, she left them to keep going further away from the men that were after her.
Rosemary was found again in a town near Paris and it was then when she made the decision of going back to the States. She had gotten acquainted with some people there albeit, as an undercover spy for Hydra, but she didn't mind having to pretend to be someone else to hide. She had to be far away from Hydra for a while so they would at least slow down her pursuit, only then she could plan with time her attack.
Currently, she was hidden in an army cargo from France to the USA. Having only herself at that moment, and staying in a safe place for the time being, inevitably made her think about the events of the past weeks. Her mother's death in particular.
Her father stabbing her mother and the scream she made sending all of them to the ground.
You know perfectly well that's not what killed her. You did.
She was aware that if her mother had gotten medical attention at the right time she probably would've lived, the knife wasn't meant to kill her. However, even though she wasn't in her bones, her body wasn't in perfect condition so Rosemary wasn't completely sure her mother's body would've survived the stab wound.
You know perfectly well that's not what killed her.
Or maybe she would've.
She could still feel her body becoming limp in her arms, but nothing stood out more than the lost look her mother had before she died.
