I removed the knife from my back,
being unable to think without having a flashback.
I removed you from my life,
even though you said you wanted to make me your wife.
I removed your words from my head,
now I'm forced to lay alone in bed.
I removed your pain that you inflicted on me,
I'm not sorry that I couldn't be who you wanted me to be.
I removed the bruises from my skin,
God knows that you always had to win.
I removed the "I love you"'s from my memory,
I have to ignore your pleading and your beggary.
I knew that you would try to get me back, you're determinant.
But without a doubt, this break-up is forever permanent.
