For this poem, I'm dividing it into 3 sections and they'll each have titles so I hope that's not confusing :)

I. The Birth of the Universe

Your hand in mine, alignment of the stars, my wishes they all come alive.

My love, my life, my sun that keeps me warm, you're the reason that I survive.

Your beauty, your kindness, your strength cannot compare.

For I admire everything about you, from me you can never tear.

II. The day the stars fell

It's been 2 years, and so I fear, my nightmares have come true.

The one thing I never wanted to lose, one who would never die, you.

The light is dimming, your beautiful glare, it's slowly fading away.

And as you fade, so do I, the yellow turns to gray.

III. Everything is gone

Without you here, I'm cold as the moon, the stars have slowly fell.

And so have you, without you here, my heart can only swell.

All the light is gone, there is nothing to orbit, I'm forever in this curse.

And in this stillness, I lay awake, alone at the edge of a universe.
