Jo's POV:
"Hero! Where's my laptop charger?!" I yell from across the apartment. Today is another online interview for After We Collided. It's 10am here in LA and Hero and I spent the morning sleeping in, making breakfast together.. normal stuff nowadays."I thought you put it back in the drawer!" Hero yells from the kitchen, his voice carrying loudly throughout the small space.
After what seems like forever, I finally find my charger in the bottom drawer of my small desk in the corner of the bedroom. I don't remember putting it in there but whatever. I plug in my charger to the wall, connecting it to my laptop which is open and reading at less than 10% battery. Just in time. We were told the notification for the interview would pop up between 10:15 and 10:30.
"Do you want more coffee? There's still some left," Hero shouts again.
"Yes please! And make sure you put less sugar in this time!" I respond, moving my fingers over the mouse pad.
"Oh that's right. I forgot. You're sweet enough already," I hear Hero's bare feet walking across the vinyl hardwood floor towards the bedroom. I smirk to myself at his comment. I told him that early on in our quarantine after he had attempted to make breakfast one morning, almost catching the stove on fire and making me coffee that tasted like dumping an entire bag of sugar down my throat. It was sweet nonetheless. I didn't have the heart to tell him my coffee was damn near inedible. Instead, I joked that I didn't need much sugar because I was sweet enough as it was and it just stuck.
"You look... comfortable," he chuckles while entering the bedroom, coffee cup in hand.
"Shush. They only see from the waist up anyway," I look back at him, trying to make it seem like he's insulted me but failing miserably. I'm wearing a black off the shoulder blouse, makeup and hair fully done and navy blue silk pajama shorts. Sue me.
"You my dear, look stunning. You know I just have to give you a hard time," Hero says, placing my coffee next to my computer. He leans down over me kissing me on the forehead.
"You look very handsome as well. Too bad all this is not for going out today," I say. His faint hint of cologne makes its way to my nose and I smile.
"You know... we have a few minutes before the interview starts. We could maybe make our way over to the bed... or we could just use the desk..." Hero's voice trails off as he is now standing behind me. He moves my curled hair to one side of my neck and begins kissing the other side slowly. As much as I don't want to give in to whatever he is trying to suggest right now, my mouth opens and quiet moan leaves my body.
"We can make it quick," he whispers into my ear, biting onto my ear lobe gently. His breath is hot on my neck and I feel my stomach begin to tighten. Horny Hero. I loved it. Just not when we are about to put on a show for the whole world to see in a matter of seconds.
I knew when he got this way, he could make it quick. And trust me, I wanted nothing more than my seemingly daily fix of him.
"And mess up my hair and makeup? Nope. Not happening," I laughed, pulling my neck away from his lips.
"It's just a little sex hair babe. Nothing the fans haven't seen before," he smirks, his green eyes so sultry and dilated.
"Go in the other room. After we get through this, then we'll talk," I laugh as he shakes his head and begins to make his way to the living room. Just as he's shutting the door to the bedroom behind him, I am alerted that the interview is about to begin and I click accept. Just another days work. Here we go.
