Rosé sighed happily as she walked across the streets heading home after her shift at the café she worked at.
She passed by the brick walls which now had vines growing into them, as she kicked a few loose pebbles on the street.
She was fairly happy as today was December 30th, taehyungs birthday which meant a definite reunion.
Last time the reunion couldn't happen on Jimin's birthday as a few events had happened, and so some of them had to FaceTime.
But today almost all of them would be here, and she would feel happy with all of them together.
She smiled once again knowing that the national teams were on break now, Christmas break as it was only five days ago.
There was actually a competition and interview for the past 5 days, and so they were giving them a 2 weeks off, for them all to spend time together with their families.
Sure it wasn't ideal. But it was something.
All the colleges were in break right now, and so were the schools.
"Rosé-ah" a voice called as she looked back and saw Lisa running up to her.
"Oh Lisa Yah" Rosé greeted her best friend with the same enthusiasm.
Her and Lisa had been best friends ever since they were little, they grew up being the same age and were often referred to as twins.
"Where are you coming from?" Rosé asked the other as she came into steps with her.
"Grocery shopping. Moms making a feast" Lisa said as she held up the bag.
Rosé peeked inside and smiled widely.
"Really? I love your moms japchae" she said as she spotted the ingredients.
"Ani. Your mom makes better tteokbaki" Lisa said bored of her moms food as Rosé rolled her eyes.
"Sure sure"
"How was your work shift?"lisa asked changing the topic.
"Same old same old. That guy came again asking for Jennie unnies number." Rosé exclaimed remembering the events that happened frequently.
"Really? Again? Some guy came up to me asking for Jisoo unnies at the store!"
"Aish this is what happens when we live with two attention catchers" Rosé said rolling her eyes.
The two laughed along as they reached the street they grew up on.
This street was a special one.
Surprising enough, all the parents here had kids around the same ages.
So they all had grown up together, and everyone here was basically family.
The two bid goodbye to each other as Lisa stepped into her house, throwing her slippers off.
"Mom I got the groceries" Lisa yelled announcing her presence at home.
"Got it, leave them in the kitchen!" Her mom yelled out as Lisa obliged.
She stepped into the kitchen dropping the groceries before going into her room.
She stepped inside her bedroom as she found her photographs laying in their usual places on her walls.
A while ago Lisa a had brought a camera, and every time there was a reunion she would snap a picture and hang it in her room.
On her walls you could basically see how they grew up, seeing she had one from when they were tweens all the way to now.
She spotted her opened math textbook on the table, and chose to ignore it as her study habits were that bad.
Lisa was a junior in high school, 11th grade as most would.
Her and Rosé went to the same school but were in different home rooms, but her and Jungkook were in the same one.
Lisa hated studying, she much preferred her sports classes like volleyball, even though she wasn't much good at it.
She really didn't get why she was still studying as In the end she would be taking care of her dads Thai restaurant in the plaza after either way.
She sighed as she plugged her earphones into her Walkman instead, blasting music as she leaned against the bed frame.
Rosé on the other hand returned home as she greeted her single father.
"How was work" her dad asked rosé as she saw her.
"It was fine, same old same old" Rosé replied as she took the mop from her dad doing it instead.
Her dad just smiled at his daughter as she moved in to do other chores.
"Ah right, we all have dinner today at the jungs house" her dad informed Rosé as she nodded in reply.
"Okay!"
The Jungs family was the sunshine family.
Hobi's house.
He was however not the only child of that family.
They lived two houses down from Rosé.
After finishing mopping, Rosé returned the mop to its original place before going to her bedroom.
She sat on her desk as she began putting her money in.
The reason she had a job was so that she could afford to pay her college fees.
Sure her father was a lawyer and earned a lot, but she didn't want him to fully be burdened.
He would pay her fees while she would pay for her books and other things.
Rosé was studying to become an engineer.
Her moment of solitary lasted shortly as her window was opened and Jimin snuck inside.
"Yah Jimin!" Rosé exclaimed annoyed as he came in
"I told you to stop doing that" she complained.
"Rosé Yah, you live in a one story house and it's so easy for me to sneak in, of course I will" he replied as he sat on her bed.
"Jimiiiiin" Rosé whined as he just chuckled.
"Why, are you that annoyed by me?" He asked smirking as she rolled her eyes at him.
"Yes"
"Well you'll have to keep dealing with it. I ain't going anywhere" he said grinning.
"Also you should really call yoongi over more, he literally lives right upstairs" Jimin said noticing as Rosé just dead panned.
"That guy literally ghosts everyone. He hates people most of the time, I don't want to lose a head" Rosé replied as Jimin nodded.
"That's sort of true.Anyways I just came to remind you to get the sodas for tonight. See you" he replied before jumping back out the window.
She just shook her head at his stupid acts.
"Complete idiot"
