27. The new boundary

The whole group had began talking as they all caught up on every thing, even a cake had delivered to their door saying the words "happy birthday Hobi and Rosie", because Jennie had ordered it for the two.

Unbeknownst to her, it seemed that the parents had ordered her and Taehyung a cake to congratulate them on their performance at the Olympics, so now they had two cakes.

"Aish we can never really do surprises can we?" Lisa sighed at the cakes.

"Actually I think this turned out well, the cakes were too small for all of us to get a good piece, so now we have enough for everyone" she said as she deliberately got the lighter from her bag quizzing everyone.

Taehyung widened his eyes at her as he realised that no one else knew she used to smoke.

Quickly she came up with an excuse that everyone bought, thank the lord.

"I already planned to order a cake so I bought it on the way." She said and everyone seemingly nodded not asking further on the topic.

She lit the birthday cake first as they prepared for the late conjoined birthday celebration.

"1 , 2, 3, Happy birthday" they shouted as they finished singing and the two blew out the candles together smiling.

Lisa jokingly got the excess whipped cream before bopping it on Rosé's nose, to which Rosé just dramatically grasped.

"How could you Lisa?" She faked as people just shook their heads at the pairs childish behaviour.

As they were Jennie suddenly remembered something, as she went to her hand bag and pulled something out, before handing it to her father.

"Thank you for everything dad, this is for you" she said as she placed the gold medal into his palms as she smiled brightly.

"Aish you idiot, you won this" he muttered as he was smiling at his daughter who worked hard for her first medal.

"Bu-" she began before her dad cut her off.

"No buts, here take it" he said as he proudly placed it in her hands, manually making her hands clutch around it, and then hugging her.

They were about to sit back as Jennie's phone rang, and she reached for her mobile.

Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she glanced at the watch astonished why the caller was calling her this late.

"I'll be back. My coach is calling me" she said as she excused herself, leaving to the porch outside, as she shut the door closed for privacy.

"Do you think it's serious?" Jisoo asked as she was gone for a few minutes then and there.

The parents were sitting at the bigger dining table by then so it was just them.

"I don't really know..." Suga muttered seeing as she was out for a while.

"I didn't say this cause I was too embarrassed to when she was here, but she's really pretty even off camera, her skin is so clear without make up too" Sun-her admitted to Namjoon who just chuckled at her in response.

"I think Jennie is snatching up my girlfriend, that's not very good" he said as she rolled her eyes at him.

"I'm going to go check on her" Taehyung said as the others nodded, and began to discuss some things.

"Want to bring the cake outside to surprise them? Instead of just doing this I think it'll be better" Hobi said as the others agreed.

"Yah Jungkook go tell our parents" Jimin said ushering him as he blankly stared.

"Why me?" Je questioned as now even the others were telling him to go.

"Because you're the youngest, now go, quickly" they said pushing him out as he just gave up and told their parents the plan, as they also quickly agreed.

Getting the lighter they lit the candles before slowly picking it up, and made their way to the porch.

Meanwhile Jennie just hung up the phone with her coach and had her elbows resting on the railing as she cracked her neck from the exhaustion in her body.

It was certainly a long flight.

"Hey..." a voice called as she looked to the side to be greeted by Taehyung.

"Hey" she replied as she offered him a small smile, as he came up to her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

She turned around in response, and his arms moved to holding on to the railing she leaned on.

"So... what happened?" He asked as she just shrugged.

"He wanted to remind me of the diet I need to follow and there schedules no matter if I'm here" she said as he smiled.

"Thank god it was just that.. I thought he probably was calling you to return" he said as Jennie just shivered at the thought.

"God no, I'm on break for at least three to four weeks, with of course training personally" she says.

"I have the month off. That means we can spend more time with the family right?" He says as she nods.

He smiled as he leans down and kissed her lips, softly, as her hand raised around his torso kissing back.

Over the span of the incident he caught her, they had been much closer and even began dating, so this was unexpected to outsiders but they for some reason didn't get shy with skinship.

On the other side of the glass however, the whole party was staring with wide eyes or their jaws dropped.

"What the..." Jisoo said as she stared wide eyed at the two.

"Are they dating?" Jungkook's dad asked their parents who in turn just shrugged just as clue less.

"Does that mean no more Lisa and Taehyung?" Lisa's mom asked as Lisa rolled her eyes.

"That also means bye bye Taehyung and Rosé then" Rosé's sad said as they saw them.

"Oh thank god" Rosé muttered under her breath as the others were just too shocked to say anything.

Except Suga of course.

" You guys know this was a long way coming right" he says in the most calm demeanour seeing them all freak out.

"But still!" Namjoon whisper yelled aggressively pointing at them.

"Hey guys I have the knife for the ca- Gah what the hell?" Jimin shrieked loudly enough for Taehyung and Jennie to hear as they immediately were stunned by the whole group watching them.

Meaning they saw what just happened, especially by their expressions.

"Oh shit" they muttered together.
