Everyone had gathered at the house on Saturday noon, as they sat in the main living room to eat while they watched the olympics.
It wouldn't start for another 20 minutes but they were earlier than they thought, and even Sun-her, Namjoon's girl friend had finally managed to join them, as she introduced herself to the family.
"Wait so what team is against Taehyungs for the 3rd place position?" Hobi asked once again.
Taehyung's match is first, and Jennie's was one of the last games.
"He's against Serbia's team, they probably will get 3rd according to predictions" Jimin replied as he remembered their conversation.
"So Spain and USA made it to 1 and 2? At least korea is getting a chance at 3rd, that's pretty big" Rosé muttered as she was speaking.
Soon the adults had returned as they all found whatever places they could in the living room, some pulling the chairs from the dining table over as well.
In less than a few minutes, the bright colours of the familiar Olympic logo flashed across the broad casting channel they were on, showing it had began as they began to watch more attentively.
After this they Jennie's game is not for a few hours, so it would be their choice if they continued to watch or not.
The host for Korea had began speaking as he announced the events that were happening, such as a review of TV e scores, what game was going to be played between which countries and for which position and stuff like that, before finally the teams started appearing.
"Wahhh he looks so good on TV as well" Jisoo said as she saw her brother running across court once again.
"Jisoo you've said that every time we've seen him on court, I don't think it's that valuable anymore" Jin replied as Jisoo just nudged him to shut up.
"This kid really looks so confident for his first Olympic Games, Jennie too, they both looked like the Olympics were just any other competition" Lisa's mom said as they looked completely natural at the environment.
Soon enough the game had begun with multiple people chasing after the ball, shots being made, a penalty to a player of the opposing team, free throws until slowly the game came to an end.
Everyone had cheered when the Korean team had one, meaning they secured bronze which was still big enough, being a medal.
Non surprisingly the camera had shone Taehyung a lot, and we mean a lot, as his visuals were that great, for an athlete especially, and his sweating and cheering was no sore sight for the girls.
Got to get them viewers for the show.
They made their final bow as they soon left so the next game could commence, and so it did.
"When is Taehyung returning? Oh and Jennie too?" Suga's mom asked as she sipped her soda.
"The ending ceremony was moved to tonight, so he'll be on the morning flight back tomorrow." Taehyungs mom replied to the first part before Jennie's dad continued with the rest of their schedule.
"Jennie's archery team and the Swim team didn't have enough tickets for the same flight, on top of that if she wins she probably has a press conference tomorrow, so she'll be back on Monday." He finished as multiple people nodded in agreement.
"They won't even be back together, it's like two separate celebrations" hobi said shaking his head as people just chuckled.
"We can have the actual celebration on Monday night, but we can make home cooked food for tomorrow" Lisa's mom suggested as people agreed.
"I'm not helping in the kitchen that's for sure" Lisa said to her moms suggestion.
"I don't think you have a choice.... you know.... cause you're mom is scary" Rosé whispered to her as Lisa raised her arm to smack her.
"Yah Yah don't fight now" Suga said who was in the between of the two, and genuinely didn't want the two to rip his own hair, or even hurt him. Possibly even touch him, because he hated that.
The two just sat down, as Lisa rolled her eyes.
These arguments between the two may not seem like actual arguments to most, but they happen so often between the two that the others have already realised it's like the calm before the storm whenever one even smacks the other.
"Aish it's like a war zone with all these kids" Jisoo's mum said as she saw all of them always bickering constantly.
"I think we've known that for a long long long time now, there wasn't a day when at least one of them wouldn't
cause trouble for us and we'd clean up their mess" Namjoon's dad muttered remembering the good old days when they were kids."And you can especially never miss the joy Rosé had when Lisa and you all first moved here, and now they can't go a day without even a little bickering" Rosé's dad mentioned as he also went down a trip of memory lane.
"It wasn't my fault that Jisoo and Jennie were always, ALWAYS, stuck at the hip.
I mean have you seen the photo albums, they're almost conjoined at it if you ask me" Rosé said as she turned the pin point away from her."Rosé, I was five when that happened, Jennie was 4 and you two were barely three. You only say this cause of photos, but trust me, the two of us were only together because you were a brat. You used to always steal our chocolates that we saved, and you also had Jimin, the two of you would always annoy everyone" Jisoo said pointedly as Rosé just pouted.
"She still does" Suga Pointed out regarding the chocolate, well in general food stealing.
"I bet she would owe us at least a million for all that she's stolen" hobi said as Rosé rolled her eyes.
"Look they're announcing the winners" she said drifting the convo as all the kids eyes shot that way, where as she silently muttered smirking.
"Ha, Imbeciles"
