Our Dream - A Hogwarts Story - DISCONTINUED

2nd year - Chapter 10

The Davis household has been back from camping for a couple days and the 3 teens still in hogwarts are on their way to the Burrow so they can take them to get their school supplies. They're using floo powder and Alec goes first then Connor then Davina.

When they get there all the family is around the table eating breakfast and Davina and her brothers join them for a quick bite to eat before they head off.

Ron had filled Davina in on what happened to Harry and why he wasn't returning any letters and its the first she realised how bad he actually had it and she can't help but feel sorry for him.

Davina and her brothers went through the fire place first and waited for the rest to come as well but when they got there they said Harry had said it wrong and they don't actually know where he is.

They were all going to go look for him but bumped into Hermione, she was there with her parents and Davina had told her everything that happened during her summer and what she knew about Harry.

While walking to the shop to get their books Davina and Hermione bump into Harry and Hagrid. Saying their farewells to Hagrid they girls took Harry to the book shop where everyone else was.

When they got there, they seen a big line of witches and they all  wondered what was going on. It wasn't until Davina seen the sickening smile of the pompous prat himself Gilderoy Lockart. He was famous in the wizarding world for 'his' adventures of battling the most dangerous creatures, so he says.

Davina has never like him or his books and now she was expected to buy them for school, not happening. While the Weasley's gathered round and made sure Harry was okay Davina stood next to her brothers but that didn't last long, it was to fake up the front
"I'm going to wait outside" she said to no one in particular.

As she walked away she seen Draco standing on the second floor watching over with his usual arrogant look plastered across his face. Since its been 2 months since she seen him she went upstairs to say hi.

He noticed her and started walking down the stairs to meet her halfway.

"Malfoy" she sneered knowing he'd play along since he can't possible ruin his reputation because of her.
"Davis, how have you been?" he didn't play along much, so it kind of took her by surprise and before she could answer she seen that something caught his eye, looking over Davina seen that he was staring at a book. Before she could get a good look at it he picked it up and opened it.

Davina heard everyone beginning to leave so she ignored the boy and went back down stairs to stand with the twins.

Unfortunately before she could say anything she heard Draco being his oh so rude self
"Bet you loved didn't you Pottah" he spat
"famous Harry Pottah, couldn't even go into a book shop without making the front page" he seemed really pissed but for god knows what.

Davina went to step in but instead Ginny did
"Leave him alone" she was definitely the strongest Weasley and she knew it but her brothers underestimate her which is a shame.
"Oh look potter, got yourself a girlfriend" before the boy could continue a silver snake cane tapped his shoulder and pushed him out the way.

Lucius Malfoy the biggest git of them all
"Now Draco, play nicely" he said as he walked up towards Harry with a fake smile
"Mr Potter" dropping the smile he introduced himself shaking Harry's hand and pulling him in and began inspecting his scar
"Forgive me, your scar is legend. As of course is the wizard who gave it to you"

The rest the conversation was very boring but Davina stood her guard as he talked to Hermione incase he said something out of line. As he was moving on to the Weasley's she was getting really pissed, no one talks about her friends like that and gets away with it.

Clenching her fists she went to lunge at him but was stopped by 2 hand holding each of her arms back while she struggled to get out.
Malfoy Senior just stared at her before going to speak,
"Better watch it Davis, dont want precious Daddy to loose his job now do we" this only made her more mad and the arms had to fight hard to keep her still.

She had calmed down now as Mr Weasley came over to handle the situation and lead them all out the door.

"Why didn't you let me hit him, it would have been so fun" Davina asked turning round and realising if was the twins holding her back.

"As much as that would have been hilarious" Fred says
"You can't, think about your dad and his job" and George finished.

"Ugh stop being right its weird" she replied laughing as they sarcastically gasped.

The rest of the day was particularly boring Davina went to get new robes since the ones she had were a bit tight now that she were developing a little. She went to the sweet shop and got some chocolate frogs and then her and her brothers headed home and saying goodbye to the Weasley's.

She was now on the platform saying goodbye to Mitchell and her dad before heading on the train. It was almost time to go and they still haven't seen the Weasley's so Davina was getting kind of worried but before she could say anything she was dragged onto the train.

Turning around to see who dragged her it was Bekki, they both hugged and went to find a compartment.
They found one with Hermione, Ginny, Seamus and Neville in it.

Bekki asked where the boys were but none of them knew so they all just decided to sit back and talk about their summers. Couple of times Davina and Bekki had to reassure Ginny and calm her nerves but other than that the train ride was quite boring this year.

The whole night it was only Ron and Harry that were missing. Davina, Bekki and Hermione went to the teachers to tell them but they assured them that they would be fine and would be in classes tomorrow. None of them argued and just went back to their dorm to unpack.

This year Davina was still sharing with Bekki and Hermione but there was another 2 girls in their room this year. The 3 girls knew them but weren't exactly close, the blond haired girl lavender was a bit, strange and the other girl Parvati was a twin to someone in ravenclaw and Davina never really spoke to them. They seemed nice enough though.

They  all talked for a while to get to know each other better and then decided to go to bed for first day tomorrow.
