2nd Year - Chapter 17

Connor's P.O.V

Its been a couple months since Davina was petrified and nothing was the same without her. Everyone was too quiet, there was no mischief. I even missed her pranks and thats saying something.

Every night Alec, ced and me went to visit her. We weren't sure if she could hear us but if she could I'm sure it made her less insane stuck there.

During the day other people visited her as well like Bekki, she wasn't the same without her and it was sad seeing her sulk around. Hermione, Harry, Ron, the twins, Cho Chang and lots of others visited her as well either during the day or at night after dinner.

One person I did not expect to see there was the little blonde git but it seemed he visited almost every night once everyone was away. He never noticed me but I seen him lingering in the corridor one night so I hid to see what he was doing and it turns out he sat with her for a while before leaving. This was defiantly something I would tease her about when she was awake.

In the couple months other people got petrified too like Hermione and now the medical Wing was off limits and we couldn't visit which was really irritating but we were told that the potion would be ready soon and they would wake up and its safe to say we were all excited.

Draco's P.O.V

Its been about a week since we were told that the famous Harry Potter had slain the beast in the chamber, 'stupid potter'.

I walked into the great hall with Crabbe and goyle and went to sit down for dinner when I seen that most of the petrified people were sitting at the tables with their friends and it made me happy, she would be there.

I sat down at the table and glanced over to see that she wasn't with her friends, she wasn't in the hall at all and it was worrying. I had already had to deal without her for months and now I had to wait longer. She better not be too much longer.

Davina's P.O.V

She had just woken up from being petrified for months and it was good to move about again.

Everyone else who had been petrified had already left for dinner but the Proffesors wanted to speak to her first so she had to wait.

They asked her what she was doing and how she found it.

Explaining that she had originally went for a walk to clear her head after learning about her Parseltongue abilities, that she subconsciously ended up at the library and started reading book and how she found it then went to go and find someone when it happened.

She also told them that she could sometimes hear people talking to her and it was one thing that kept her sane during the long months.

After being checked over by Madame Pomfrey multiple times she headed to the great hall for dinner. Stopping outside the doors she took a breath and readied herself, hoping no one would make a big deal but it was hogwarts students they were known for their dramatics.

She opened the door walked in a little and scanned the crowds for her friends, the first person she noticed was Bekki. Mainly because she was running at her with smile on her face, Davina immediately ran up to her and they both collided into a tight hug and fell on the floor, people laughed but the girls didn't care they missed each other too much.
