With all our names signed on the paper I was now panicking because I didn’t know what I could do and the audition is in a couple days so I decide to talk to Alec, Connor and Cedric to see if they had any ideas.
When I originally asked I expected all my friends to turn it down but they didn’t and now I'm stuck so what better than to ask the people who have known me my whole life.
"Hey guys" I say sitting down at the Hufflepuff table in between Alec and Cedric
"Hey sis" Connor says
"Pumpkin?" Alex questions
"Hey little one" Cedric says
"Just because you've known me since I was a baby does not mean you get to call me 'little one' okay?" I said to Cedric
"Okay, okay," putting his hands up in defence while smirking
“and I won’t be the little one anymore” I said putting a hand on my stomach, it was one way to break the news to Cedric and I couldn’t wait any longer since he is basically another addition to my siblings.
“Wait, wait, wait” Cedric says shaking his head as if I just asked him 30 questions at once. “You’re pregnant?” he asks in a whisper. I nod and then he pulls me into a hug and whispers a ‘congrats’ in my ear.
"And you" I say accusingly pointing my finger to Alec "stop calling me pumpkin, thats dads thing"
They just laugh me off.
"Anyway what you been doing titch?" Alec asks bring another nickname that I just roll my eyes too.
"Oh nothing, just made a bet or deal type thing with my friends about this talent show and we've signed up but I'm not quite sure what I can do for it. Any ideas?"
"You could always dance" Cedric says
"Yeah you were pretty good at dancing round the house when you were little" Connor says while they all laugh
"I'm being serious here, help me" I whine
"Why don't you sing?" Alec says like it’s obvious
"You've have always been really good” Connor finishes
"Why didn't I think of that" I say "Thanks guys”
I sat at the table for about 10 minutes talking about the baby and my classes. All of he boys seemed pretty excited about the baby and they all promised to keep it hushed.

"So you guys, do you know what you’re going to do for the talent show?" I ask sitting down with my friends at the Gryffindor table.
"Yep and it’s going to blow your minds" the twins say smugly.
"Yeah, what are you doing for it Davina?" Neville asks
"Yeah what tricks do you have up your sleeves?" Ginny asks as her and Bekki check my robes while they all laugh.
"I have just figured it out and I'm not telling. Anyway got to go practice" I grab an apple and walk out the hall to go to my room to find a good song.
I made it to my dorm and seen that there is no one there which is perfect so I can practice.
I soon realised I didn't have any music sheets so I decide to go to professor Flitwick hopeing he had some or it was going to be difficult.
Approaching the door I knocked hoping he's in.
"Come in" I heard faintly through the big door to the charms classroom.
I opened the door and walked up to his desk,
"Hello sir, I was curious if you had any song sheets I could look through for the talent show. I want to sing but I don't have any music sheets with me" I said hoping to sound eager enough for him to help me.
