After charms class Davina and Bekki were walking out to the courtyard.
Hermione was in front of the 2 girls and the boys further up. Bekki and Davina heard Ron talking and making fun of Hermione but before the 2 could say anything to her she had run off, with one look to Bekki they both stormed up Ron.
"RONALD WEASLEY" she shouted making all the boys jump.
"WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU. DONT HATE HER BECAUSE SHE DONE WHAT WE ALL WERE MEANT TO DO" he looked horrified at what she did but she didn't care. Davina and Bekki ran off to find Hermione. They looked everywhere but only had one last place to look, they went to check and then they'd go to the Halloween feast.
Stopping outside of the girls bathroom the duo could hear the muffled crying of their friend. As Davina pushed the door open Bekki grabbed her wrist,
"I'm not so good with emotions so I'm, um, going to the great hall if that okay?" She smiled at Bekki and nodded.
After she left Davina was about to go in when she seen Proffesor Quirrell walking quickly down the hall, it didn't seem odd that he was late so she just went in the bathroom.
Davina and Hermione were exiting the stall after she manged to calm her down. Davina looked out as hermione was drying her eyes she someone didn't see the MASSIVE TROLL that was now in front of them. Without hesitation Davina pushed her down and she scrambled under sinks, as the troll lifted up its club to hit the stall the girl dropped to the floor and then wad covered in splintered wood.
As she lay there under all the wood she heard Harry and Ron at the door, they were throwing things at the troll getting its attention but its eyes caught Hermione under the sinks
"Hermione move" Davins shouted to her and just in time she moved over to the next next one before the club came down. Now the sink was spraying water everywhere.
Since the boys had the troll distracted Davina went to stand up and move but slipped on a puddle and fell into a big pile of wood. Not notching she had a bit in her leg, she scrambled over to Hermione to make sure she was okay. As Harry was now on top of the trolls head somehow, Ron was pulling out his wand and Hermione was reassuring him
"Wingardium leviosa" and with a swish and flick he had levitated the club meaning Harry could no longer get hit.
With the troll now knocked out, the adrenaline was wearing off and Davina could now feel the pain of the wood in her leg. That didn't last long before all the professor's came and took the sight in.
Hermione had actually taken the fall for what happened she did lose 5 points but Davina, Ron and harry gotten 5 points each for helping or as McGonagall called it "sheer dumb luck".
After what happened Davina had to get taken to the hospital wing because the wood broke off and they wanted to make sure there weren't any small pieces in her leg, she did try and protest but it was no use.
Alec, Connor and Cedric came in and checked up on her and they didn't leave until she fell asleep even though you told them it was nothing serious.
It was now the morning of the first quidditch match and Davina was in her dorm getting ready before heading down to breakfast.
Hermione had gone early to see Harry and Bekki stayed behind with her so she wasn’t alone, Bekki was currently waiting in the common room for the girl to finish the 2 French braids, having long hair it did take a while.
"Davina come quick" Bekki shouted, from downstairs. Rushing to grab her shoes and run down the stairs to see what was going on.
She stood in front of the coffee table with excitement in her eyes. "What's going on?" Davina asked so Bekki stepped aside. Lying there on the coffee table was Brown parcel in the shape of a broom stick bending down the 2 girls opened up the parcel to see an nimbus 2000. Unfortunately she could not thank the sender because there was no note left with it.
After trying to figure out who it was from with no Avail Davina and Bekki went down to the great hall to get something to eat before the match. Walking over to the table with the broom in her hand, she noticed that Harry had the same broom on the floor next to him. Walking up towards him she asked "where did you get that? Who gave it to you?" He looked quizzical for a moment until he noticed the broom in her hands as well.
Speaking up he said "McGonagall gave it to me But im not to let any one know"
Just as he said this professor snape walk past the table and noticed the broom in her hands and said
"that's a nice broom there Davis, where did you get that? No matter lets hope that helps gryffindor win today" With his voice dripping with sarcasm, he walked away and sat with the other professors.
After he left Harry had informed them all that he seen a cut on his leg a couple days prior from when the troll attacked, he also went on to explain his theory on how the professor wanted to get past a 3 headed dog which was news to Davins since she had never been told and neither had Bekki.
Trying to put his theory to rest, she convinced Harry to drop it for the moment and concentrate on the game she didn’t want Harry to blame it on the professor without any proof.
Just before they were about to leave the great hall to go to the pitch Davina's brother Connor came up to her and asked where she had gotten the broom he looked concerned when she said she didn't know he also informed her not to ride it in case it was jinxed. Laughing him off the girl just decided to leave and get ready for the game.
She had made it to the match and stood with the rest of the team waiting to be let on, the nerves started to build up but soon died down now that the doors were opening and she flew out with the rest if the team.
Soon enough the game had started and the commentator lee was sitting in the stands explaining what was going on
"Hello and welcome to hogwarts first quidditch game of the season. Todays game is Slytherin vs Gryffindor" cheers erupt from everyone as they take their positions.
"The players take their positions as madame hooch steps onto the field to begin the game.
Today gryffindor has 2 new members. Filling in the role of chaser no. 3 is Davina Davis and the position of seeker is filled by none other than Harry Potter."
Some scattered cheers were heard through the crowd.
"The Bludgers are up, followed by the golden snitch, remember the snitch is worth 150 points. The seeker who catches the snitch ends the game.
The quaffle is released and the game begins.
Davina is first in to grab the quaffle, shes got the other slytherin chasers on her tale. Nice manoeuvre by Davis, she scores,
10 points for gryffindor
Quaffle taken by the Slytherins — that's Adrian Pucey speeding off toward the goal posts, but he's blocked by a second bludger — sent his way by Fred or George Weasley, can never tell which — nice play by the Gryffindor Beater, and Davis is in possession of the quaffle, a clear field ahead and off she goes — she's really flying — dodges a speeding Bludger — the goal posts are ahead — come on, now, Davina — Keeper Bletchley dives — misses
GRYFFINDORS SCORE
Thats both teams up 20 points.
Angelina, gryffindor chaser in possession now. Flying through maneuvering, she almost there — and she scores — another 10 points to gryffindor.
Davis back in possession flying past both slytherin beaters, she's hesitating — why is she hesitating? — whats going with Harry's broom? —Davis throws the quaffle as hard as she can — she's going to Harry who's now hanging on — I don't believe it, the quaffle is through slytherin hoops — another 10 points to gryffindor thanks to Davis
Harry is back secured on his broom and they're off again.
Gryffindor 10 points ahead of slytherin, score is 60-50 — both seekers have spotted the snitch — its a deep dive for both and slytherin pulls up first. Harry potter is standing on his broom he's almost got it — nooo he's fell.
Wait a minute, looks like he's going to be sick — I don't believe it, Potter's caught the snitch — GRYFFINDOR WINS!!!"
