The Body Swap Motive (KomaHina // HinaKoma)

PART 1 - Chapter 10

     When are they going to get here? It shouldn't be taking them this long. I knew sending Hiyoko out wasn't a good idea to begin with, but now we're missing three people instead of two.

     I sigh as my eyelids become heavier. I would have fallen asleep if Hiyoko hadn't of returned. We could immediately tell something was wrong.

"Well, where are they?" said the pink-haired mechanic.

     It was fairly obvious that we should not have assigned Hiyoko the job of finding Hajime and Nagito.

"I didn't want to be seen walking with those weirdos!" said the traditional dancer.

"Don't tell me you fuckin just left them there and ran off. You prick!"

     Fuyuhiko seems agrivated.

     Hiyoko gets interrogated by some other people, but I don't really pay attention. I pull out my nintendo switch and boot up Animal Crossing.

     My concern for the missing boys soon enough takes away my attention, though.

     I wonder where they are?

-Nagito Komaeda-

"There's no way it's possible. Just no way!"

Blah, blah.

"Why would Monokuma just give us two a motive?"

How long is he gonna go on like this?

"Honestly, it makes no s-"
"Hajime, how long are you planning to speak?"

     He gives me a dumbfounded look which almost makes me want to sit down and dismiss myself from this conversation.

"You've just been talking nonstop for minutes. I know it's far from my place to speak, but this is getting pointless."

     He seems quite distressed, but who wouldn't be! We swapped bodies for gods sake.

     However, Hajime is right in some sort of way. It wouldn't be necessary for Monokuma to only give us the motive. At least a few other people have to be infected.

     Hajime gives a quick nod.

"I guess you're right, Nagito, but what should we do?"

     Was it really not obvious?

"Well, first of all, we should head to the restaurant like Hiyoko said. But, you don't have to listen to me of coarse! If you have another option, please tell."

     I try to put on the most encouraging smile i can. I guess on Hajime's body it just looks sarcastic, though. He gives me a dirty look.

"Do i really look that pissed all the time?"

     Silence follows.

We both chuckle and laugh it off.

-Narrator-

     The brunette,
who once went by Hajime,
who now goes by Nagito,
motions his head towards the exit door after opening it.

     The white-haired boy,
who once went by Nagito,
who now goes by Hajime,
silently follows close behind.

     They both leave the music venue, swinging the door wide open and rushing to the restaurant.

     The door slowly closes on its own, leaving the room they were just in, lifeless and empty.
