Kane's men dragged them out the room and down a hallway until they reached a set of large double doors. Throwing them open, it revealed another broken down room.
Mila was surprised by the sheer size of it; it was just a large space with the same concrete floors and stained walls. However, this room had large windows letting light in.
The men separated the four of them as Kane's eyes went over everyone in deep thought. He nodded over to the two men holding Jason and they brought him over.
"Let's start with you," he said.
Jason glared at him as the man reached out and put a hand on his shoulder. Mila's eyes widened in horror as dark veins suddenly appeared on his hand and Jason yelled out in pain, black veins appearing from under his shirt and towards his neck as if Kane was giving him pain.
"Stop!" Hunter yelled, pulling against the men holding him back.
Kane pulled his hand away and the black veins disappeared from his skin. Jason let out a breath and slumped forward for a second, dazed.
"That was nothing," Kane said. "I can make it so much worse."
Jason, despite being in so much pain, lifted his head to glare at him again.
"That's all you've got?" he taunted.
"You won't be saying that in a few minutes," Kane said, walking past him. "Now, which one of you is going to tell me about the drug deal you made with Travis Ruben?"
Neither Hunter nor Jason said a word. Silence lapsed over the room as Kane waited for an answer.
"No takers?" he questioned.
Again, silence. Mila heartbeat was the only thing she could hear pounding from fear in her ears.
Kane gestured to his men and suddenly, both Hunter and Jason got a swift punch in the jaw. Leila immediately shut her eyes, biting her lip to keep herself from making any noise.
"What about now?" Kane questioned.
Hunter's eyes narrowed towards him. "Screw you."
"What he said," Jason agreed.
That got them another punch. Mila watched in fear as Jason slumped onto the ground as the men gave him a quick kick in the side. Hunter got another punch, causing him to spit out blood onto the floor.
Mila, at the site of it, suddenly felt her palms burn as her power awakened inside of her. Immediately, she tried to suppress it.
"I can do this all day," Kane told him.
Leila flinched when Hunter and Jason both took harder punches and kicks. Kane's men were relentless in holding them down and hurting them. With every hit they took, Mila felt more bile rise up her throat.
"Stop!" Leila suddenly yelled, pulling against the man holding onto her. "Stop it, please!"
Kane glanced at her before holding up his hand, and the men stopped.
"Tell me about how you managed to get a face-to-face deal with Travis Ruben," Kane said. "This is your final warning."
Again, Hunter and Jason said nothing. To Mila's surprise, Kane suddenly began walking over towards her. She panicked and tried to move back but was held in place.
