I like the DC Superhero Girls reboot developed by Lauren Faust. It's definitely a guilty pleasure for me. When I first saw the original version, it looked pretty boring. It was just a dumb excuse to sell toys for girls, obviously. Once Lauren Faust was asked to reboot it, she really did something with it! The animation's great and lively, the voice acting is a lot of fun, and it's as lively as a Looney Tunes cartoon. So I like watching it. I really did want to do a fan fiction based off of the 2019 reboot. But how do you do a fan fiction when most of the characters in a show are teenagers? It took me a while to think of a story. But I eventually thought of something with my OC Kevin. It didn't hurt to age him down a bit. The girls in this fanfic are 17 going on 18. Nothing wrong with aging them upa bit. The reason Kevin has brown eyes instead of his usual dark blue is because, well, two of the main characters have blue eyes. I wanted Kevin to stand out from Kara and Diana having blue eyes, so I gave him brown eyes as a nod to actor Ben Affleck for this story. Hopefully nobody mistakes him for Peter Parker. But yeah, Kevin really looks like a character on DCSHG2019. Very special thanks to Linda for doing the drawing. And the Christmas Carol subplotwas a result ofwriter's block to help move the story forward. I hope you enjoy my story.
