Not long after finishing his breakfast, Kakarot ambled down the corridors towards his chamber. He let out a meager sigh, clasping his hands together. This was the same old mundane routine every morning now, and it left him feeling irritated. It was also agitating him being followed around with no sense of freedom, seeing the same palace walls all the time was depressing to him.

Kakarot peered down at his feet while he extended to casually walk towards the chamber, listening to his and the servant's footsteps resound around him. On hearing footsteps heading towards him, he halted and glanced up to see it was Vegeta with Nappa pursuing behind. His heart galloped hard against his chest, recalling the passionate evening spent with the Prince.

He watched as Vegeta dismissed the servant behind him before clearing his throat and folding his arms.

"Kakarot, there's something I didn't have time to teach you... I'd like it if you would accompany me outside... unfortunately that includes the baldy behind me here," he jerked his thumb behind him not breaking eye contact on Kakarot.

Vegeta's lips curved into a sneer, knowing Nappa was giving him a glare from behind. But he didn't break his eye contact on Kakarot.

"We are going to do some training?" Kakarot's eyes widened in excitement. He was sick of seeing the same four walls day in day out, his sickness was easing now, and he was eager to train.

Seeing the excitement on Kakarot's face invoked a sigh from Vegeta. "I'm uncertain if that's the saiyan side of you or just your naïve side. You know you can't do strenuous activities, it's something else that I should have taught you on the night of the ritual."

"Well, I guess it's better than being stuck in here..." Kakarot said with disappointment in his tone.

"Lead the way Prince,"  Nappa did a dramatic bow grinning, Vegeta simply shook his head at this and nudged Kakarot to follow.

On leaving the palace, Goku took a deep breath in and exhaled with a smile. The cool fresh air brushed against his skin, and he looked up at the sky before peering down to see all the elite warriors preparing for their missions. Vegeta watched as Kakarot's tail twitched with curiosity and his senses went on overdrive as if he had never been outdoors before. As they headed further down towards the market, saiyans all went down on one knee in front of them. Kakarot looked at Vegeta and Nappa with a look of confusion etched on his face.

"Kakarot, you are my mate. Of course, they should bow down to you," Vegeta smirked as he peered towards one particular hut. A flashback came back of when he saw Kakarot there.

——
"You truly are a funny one, you are much different to all the others around here. For one, you are brave enough to speak to me like that!" The prince smirked watching Kakarot looking at him in confusion "so naive third class, so naive. It's uncanny to witness a saiyan like yourself to show a soft side"

"You make it sound like it's a bad thing" kakarot folded his arms looking up and down at the prince.

Vegeta chuckled and glanced at Kakarot as he too stared at the hut then back at him with a glare, he obviously had a similar flash back. Vegeta just smirked at him as he continued to walk.

They walked through a nearby field, to which Kakarot paused and glanced at a large rock, he hadn't noticed Nappa and Vegeta turning to face him with their arms folded. He closed his eyes as a memory flashed in his mind so vividly clear that it felt as though he was reliving that moment.

Whenever he could get a break from mundane chores, Kakarot would practice his fighting throwing kicks and punches in the air. Ever since his mother passed, it left him more determined to build his strength.
