Surprise! Surprise!

Chan brought himself up on shaky legs and heaved, taking up all his strength to do as much as to just stand. He clench his shirt just above his heart and starts walking towards Hoshi slowly, carefully moving his legs that he can't even feel anymore. Some of the members look up from their shocked state and stares at the younger's figure with curiosity since they at least still have their sense of sight. Though, some of the other members were still in shocked, some were crying in fear at the abnormal phenomenon happening to them.

The members who were staring at the youngest slow movement then move their eyes towards Hoshi and widen their eyes when they saw the vulnerable state he was currently in.

The said man was kneeling on the floor while clenching his hair hard, his nose was oozing with blood while he was shouting some incoherent words which nobody could hear any with his previous pitch black eyes now glowing a magnificent cerulean color though it was being filled with nothing but fear and terror. He shows no sign of stopping at all and the group was worried. Not for themselves but for him whose losing himself and so much blood.

Chan that was walking slowly earlier had finally arrived beside the kneeling man. He then fell to his knees also and put a shaky hand on top of the other's shoulder, getting a flinch in the process. Even though that was the case, the older didn't seem to notice the presence of Chan beside him. Not until Chan calls out to him.

"Hyu...ng... Sto..p.."

The words got stopped in between lag breathing though it looks like it reached the older that he seems to gradually stops freaking out, his eyes dimming bit by bit. Simultaneously, his power also retracted from everyone. His members starts regaining their senses back along with the guards and the masked man. All of his other team members who were recollecting themselves were about to help his mysterious friend up but was stopped by two things.

One, Hoshi who was about to regain his breathing suddenly starts coughing up blood again that seems non-stopping anytime soon which increases their worry and two, the masked man almost instantly sent guards to take all of them back to their shared house without saying another word to them (along with Wonu of course).

The guards had already took them to the bus and ride back with them. Though, the guards who were holding onto Hoshi was acting completely oblivious to the constant coughing the guy was having. The ride to their house was filled with nothing but silence, excluding Hoshi's never ending coughing. No one dared to say anything. Most of them were even still trying to comprehend the situation earlier and some had already been moving the clogs in their heads, thinking of the best way to tell the others what they had learned.

When they finally arrived, they got out of the bus and was practically shoved inside the house, the guards standing outside after completing their tasks.

When the 13 of them had regained their composure, the still coughing Hoshi hurriedly walk towards the stairs and climbed it, ignoring the constant calls from his friends. He walked up carefully and almost instantly went inside his safe haven, the 7th room leaving his other team members below.

The others could only look at him with pity. They wanted to be of help but neither of them know what's going on... or so they thought...

"Alright kids. Let's sit first. I think some of us have an idea of what had happened earlier."

Seungcheol ordered the kids and they just followed, having nothing better to do and were even waiting for someone to explain everything to them. One by one of them took their seats, feeling anxious and nervous all over. They were about to know the truth and they were scared. Anxious even.

Suddenly, Chan spoke up startling everyone.

"Right, can I have Jeonghan hyung to explain everything? I have to close my eyes for a bit."

Everyone turn their attention from the youngest to the second oldest in the group. They were curious. They thought that only Chan knows what's going on since well.... they don't know but then he suddenly asked Jeonghan to explain everything to them. Jeonghan though, looked kind of nervous. He was looking from Chan to his other group members repeatedly until he finally let out a heavy sigh and sit himself straight.

"What I am about to tell you are top secret so please, don't let it leaked out to anyone. Not our instructor nor your friends."

The group nod at Jeonghan's words, knowing bettter than anyone that they are best to follow what he was gonna told them. When Jeonghan saw the responses from his friends, he again let out a sigh and starts his story.

"Ok so all 12 of us here were taken here because of a reason. When we were 5, all 12 of us were used as an experimental subject by this association. We were from 12 different room that conducted 12 different experiments. Each room were filled with hundreds of children our age. They were the same as us. Used as well but they failed the experiment and died. All of us here were the last person from each room that were compatible with the power given and survived. They let us go, some with their memories still in tact but some were not. The 5 of us, me, Joshua, Wonwoo, Minghao and Chan were the only one who still had fragments of our memories and we piled it up. The final information that we could get was this."

The room was once again silence. They could not believe what they have heard. They were a lab rat when they were 5 and they each have powers? How weird is that?

"Wait, if we each have powers of our own, then what is it? And why can't we use it?"

Mingyu spoke up on behalf of his other friends. Jeonghan looks at Minghao and Joshua for help since both Chan and Wonwoo were currently exhausted from the event earlier.

"Let me answer to that. It's not that you can't use it but because you haven't used it for the past years. If you were to practice it, then you could maybe use it in the near future. But before any of you starts your practice, I would like to give a warning that our powers had its limit. Different power have different limits and us 5 will help you guys as much as we can."

Minghao answers to that with determination in his eyes. The group smiled at that. Now they had an idea of what was happening and they have friends that could help them to it. Though, before the group could finally end the subject for the day, one lone hand stretches up. It was Vernon.

"Then, what of Hoshi hyung? Who is he?"
