Mission | Seventeen au

Part 32

I have no idea what to write as the title so I'll just write the numbers from here on out.

The morning came as fast as the night went. One by one of them woke up at such a late morning since it was almost 11 in the morning. They all got up and get themselves ready for the day.

In a flash, all of them had stationed themselves at the table, waiting for their foods aka their lunch to be ready. The last to walk down the stairs was Jeonghan and when the said guy scan the table, he saw that they were missing a person.

"Is he still in his room?"

Emphasizing the word 'he', Jeonghan could see the group giving their answers by nodding their heads like it was the most common thing ever.

Humming at that, he took his seat beside Seungcheol and eat his share of food.

After they had finished their meal, the day went on like normal excluding their missing instructor that is. They all went to their assigned rooms and continue their mission which they have yet to finish.

"Mingyu, don't just mindlessly throw a punch. Watch the opponents carefully. Seokmin, work a bit on your movement and Vernon, relax your  shoulder a bit would you."

Seungcheol was giving his comments on the kids' training since he was practically appointed as their 'coach' even though they literally have Jae for that.

(Since I think you guys forgot who's in which group, in which even I forgot, the lists are like this;
Hand-to-hand combat: Scoups, Vernon, Mingyu and Seokmin
The IT group: Jihoon and Wonwoo
The ones who are preparing the antidote: Seungkwan, Joshua, Jeonghan, Minghao and Chan... oh and Jun since he can't be separated from his love.)

The four move fluidly along with the instructions from Seungcheol and the constant reminder to correct themselves by one another when it is deemed necessary. When it was already around noon, they finally found themselves relaxing on the floor, exhausted from their morning session.

While they were all were still trying to catch their breath, Vernon stood up from his earlier sitting position and walk towards Seungcheol.

"Hyung, can I be dismissed earlier? I have something to discuss with Seungkwan."

Seungcheol's face flashes a shocked expression before it disappeared as soon as it comes. He nodded stiffly, watching the younger's figure moving further and finally leaving the room. He then turns his head almost immediately to his other younger teammate.

"So, any of you needed to meet your partner about yesterday?"

That earns him a genuine smile along with a shake of the head from Seokmin and Mingyu in which the older sigh at that. He hoped it'll go well with their younger member.

Tap. Tap. Tap. 

The sound of keyboards being tapped and clicked filled the dimly eery room. Two silhouettes were hovering over their keyboard seemingly wanted to focus their eyes on the words which were difficult with how the room litted up only by the lights coming from their ginormous screen.

"Wonwoo, have you managed to hack into the system?"

"Yes. Jihoon, check if it has been overridded or virused"

Other than those simple words, nothing but silence hung between those two teenagers. (and let's just leave them like that since I'm not a pro in this field)

"Hyung, is it just me or does this thing haven't been added a new one?"

Minghao asked from across the room. He was curious. Really, really curious since well Hoshi's blood samples always multiply by a few bottles every morning when they came here but for once, there's no new addition. 

"Hao, just look at his condition yesterday. I don't think we'll be able to receive new ones for two to three days." Jeonghan says, his voice soothing the younger member.

"Yeah so let's just use this one. It's more than enough." Joshua added.

The younger agreed to his two oldest teammates and went back towards his side of the room to continue his abandoned work. 

Solutions after solutions were mixed according to the researches done by their two trusted IT group member and after what seems like hours of nonstop chemical mixing, Seungkwan suddenly went up to Jeonghan whose currently talking something incoherent to the ear of non-scientist to Chan. His face was contorted into something unreadable and a light pink hue colored his high cheekbone.

"Umm...Jeonghan hyung, can I go and meet with Non- I mean, Vernon for a bit?"

The older stopped at whatever he was saying to Chan and scrutinized the younger's face a bit before nodding slowly, hesitance written all over his face.

Of course he knew what they were gonna talk about and honestly, he's kinda scared to know whatever it is they were gonna discuss since well, the both of them were not one of the member who had the memory but one glance at Chan, Joshua and Minghao's face had him agreeing to the request.

"Thanks hyung."

And off he goes.

The door to the lift opened up and all that Vernon could see was a star. A bright lovely star which he had admired a month ago. He traces the person's face from his dark blue eyes that somehow represent the night sky full of stars that mesmerized him to his high cheekbones that was tinted pink naturally? and to that plump glossy lips that could make him instantly-

"Vernon?"

The call halted his mind from going further and he mask his face into that indifferent one again before walking towards the chair opposite of Seungkwan. Taking his seat, he tried to make his expression as natural as possible despite the things he was thinking earlier about- wait, no, stop. Ok, focus Vernon. He's trying to talk to you about something serious and you have to be serious too as his boy- I mean, best friend.

"So, what was it that you wanted to say to me yesterday?"

He sigh internally in relief since he manage to control his voice from being too shaky to speak. He then look at Seungkwan and could see the guy fidgeting with his sleeve and finger that he almost couldn't control himself from kissing those slender fingers- GOD, VERNON STAHP!

"I.. I think I know what my powers' are"

So now you could witness how smitten Vernon is actually.

Right guys. My question is.... at which part do you want me to elaborate more since I know some of you are really, reaaaallllyyyyy confused right now so please comment which part do you want ok? And then I'll choose which to write. 

Oh and I'm going into a short hiatus after this so it would be great if you guys had already consider the answer to my question.
