Lori's POV
I had another modeling gig today. I've kind of been avoiding Solana, I just don't want to hurt her. I texted one of my best friends Ryan. I needed to vent.

Ry😘
What's up girl?

..
Can I meet you at our usual modeling set, some guy named Rome is posed to take pictures?

Ry😘
Yeah , I've modeled for him before he's pretty dope

..
Okay but I need to vent

Ry😘
She been heavy on your mind huh?

..
Yes Ryan idkkkk what to do

Ry😘
Yeah let me grab some food on the way

Solana already knew where I was headed for the day. She was at her own crib but I missed her at mine. She probably had to work the bar today but lately she's been getting back into writing music.

I arrived to my modeling gig, it was outside but it was pretty. Rome seemed pretty chill and he was a model himself.
"You know I'm not too bad at photography,"

"I mean I'd hope so," I joked along as I walked around the scenery that we were going to use for today.

Today wasn't anything too special , I was just modeling and giving another back business a chance.

"How long have you been modeling?" He asked, making basic conversation.

"Not for too long , I started a few years ago maybe senior year high school? Something like that," I looked down at my phone waiting of Ryan to arrive, she said she was close so I set it down.

"Cool, cool. You want a specific look or?" He set up his lenses

"Nah show me what you can craft," I liked to be open minded especially when it came to letting my people create their craft.

He began to set things up and Ryan came through.

"Hey Loriiii," Ryan came up to me with some bags in her hand giving me a tight hug.

Ugh I love Ryan's hugs they remind me of home. I grew up with her in the chi, but now we found each other again in Atlanta. She just recently moved down here.

"Hey Ry," I smiled.

"I got some food , okay well kinda a lot, but I got some food," we laughed and broke away from our hug. She set the food down by a table near by.

"Hi I'm Ryan, Lori's friend I'm just here for moral support," she greeted Rome, he gave her a good look over. He was definitely checking her out or whatever.

"Well hi I'm Rome," they shook hands with some real intense eye contact. Yeah I peeped it.

"I have a lot of food and stuff if you want anything to eat?" She offered , she wasn't lying she got a shit ton of food. Chicfila and Dunkin. I love her for it though.

Eventually we set up and Rome took some fire ass flics

Rome said it was cool if we stayed here for some time. This is when I thought it was a great time to vent to Ryan.

"Ugh I don't know Ry, I feel like.. no I know she's been hurt before. Like touched or raped." I looked up, trying to hold back tears. Knowing someone has hurt her like that breaks my hearts. I hate even thinking about it but I know that's her reality.

Ryan looked at me, taking in everything I said. Listening.

"I just don't want to hurt her. I'm afraid of saying or doing something wrong you know? Not that I'd ever do something nonconsensual with or to her but I'm afraid to do as much as kiss her. Whenever I touch her she flinches," I sighed I was stressing myself out.

"Have you guys talked about it?" Ryan asked me and took a sip of her iced coffee.

I shook my head. I knew Ryan was going to kill me. She was always telling to communicate and I know I should but what am I supposed to do? Ask her about her trauma?

Ryan cussed me out about communicating and I deserved it.
