Me and Lori have kind of been distant. We still texted all the time but we took a couple days apart. I did a shift at the bar at night and didn't get home until around 2.
My head has been all over the place. Usually when I feel this way I just write. I'd play my guitar and sing but i haven't been doing that for some time.
It was 2:30 am and I sat criss cross on my couch. I played a tune on my guitar, I wrote the notes for it a little while ago.

Lori FaceTimed me. It was all dark in her room but the light from my house made it so I could see her.
"Hiii," I set up my camera so she could see me and I smiled
"Heyy," I could tell she put her brightness up
"So no titties?"
"Lori," I gave a small laugh and tuned my guitar.
"How about I give you a small kiss next time I see you."
She nodded "mhhhm okay,"
"I wanna give you my love Solana,"
I looked up at my camera, lowkey not sure if she's sober or not.
"What do you mean?" I asked , I knew what she meant but some clarification would be nice.
"I want you to be my girl," she sounded tired and yawned lightly
"You want me like that forreal?" I asked
She nodded.
"Let me sing this to you," I sang my song to hear it, just some of the little parts.

I don't know, I was just thinking and I wanted to show you what I had so far," I exhaled and looked down at my note pad trying to think of what would flow.
"That sounded so beautiful," Lori sounded so sincere
"You never told me you could sing," she sounded surprised.
We talked until she fell asleep, which wasn't too long but I didn't mind falling asleep on the phone with her when I wasn't with her.
