Solana's POV
The next few weeks were kind of the same. Lori and I had different schedules at the bar and she took up some model shifts but we always ended up staying at her place for a few days at a time.
She always made me feel comfortable but in all honestly I was beginning to grow these feelings for her. But I was afraid of being hurt. Physically more than emotionally. Whenever we touch she makes me feel safe but I'm hesitant sometimes and she realizes.
I feel like I can't stay here anymore. In this space in this city. Wherever I turn I see Kayla. And I think of experiences that we had prior.
Trigger Warning
(3rd person POV)
"Solana pleaseeee," Kayla begged Solana
"No Kayla stop," Solana tried to resist
"You know that you want this too," she pulled on Solana and the smell of beer reeked.
"I need you," Kayla held her face in her hands and kissed Solana.
Solana knew that Kayla needed her. And she promised to be there for her, maybe this is the way that she needed her.
Solana kissed her back.
"Kayla I really don't want-"
"Solana you'll do it if you love me.. you love me right?"
She nodded her head. Kayla was like her only friend. Maybe this is just what she had to do, right?
"Look if you don't want to, it's fine," Kayla began to walk away and grabbed an open beer on Solana's front table.
Guilt started to sink in.
"I want to." Solana more so convinced herself.
Kayla walked back to her and kissed her. Her hands travelled around her body letting her feel every broken part of her that she wanted.
She woke up the next morning. Kayla was getting ready to leave.
"Where are you going?" Solana asked as she rolled over
"Marco, he uh. He called me, everything's fine now," Kayla gave a shy smile as she grabbed her phone off Solana's night stand.
"Thank you, you gave me everything I needed," Kayla bent down and kissed Solana's forehead.
Solana lied there. She felt dirty. Used.

Lori's POV
"Is everything okay?"I finished getting dressed for the day and I saw Solana already freshened up on her couch. But something seemed off. Like she was thinking of something unsettling.
"Hey," I walked over I touched her hand to get her attention. She snatched it away quickly.
"I'm sorry,"
"No, no it's fine I'm sor-"
"Don't apologize. Is everything okay?" I bent down on my knees and looked her in her eyes. I kept my hands to myself regardless of how much I just wanted to hold her hands or let my hands rest on her legs.
She looked back in my eyes and rubbed my hands.
"We don't have to touch if you don't want to, it's okay," I assured her but she frowned.
God knows how bad I wanted her to touch me. I love her touch even though it's rare unless she lays on me while we watch a movie. I crave her touch.
"I want to," we kept eye contact, my mind was everywhere.
"I crave your touch but I'm afraid to touch you," I admitted
"Why?" When Solana asked everything went silent
"I notice when you flinch, I see you Solana"
"It's not you Lori. I know I'm so-"
"You don't have to apologize" I looked down into my lap, "don't apologize,"
"Lori," she exhaled. "I feel like this isn't a friend thing,"
"I-"
"And before you say anything, I'm not complaining about this not feeling like a friend thing."
I got a weak feeling in my stomach. She opened her legs allowing me to become closer to her.
Solana's POV
I moved my hands from hers and touched her face. I felt so comfortable with her. I knew that she wouldn't hurt me.
"Solana," she looked back up at me with a different kind of look in her eyes. Her eyes told me everything I needed to know. I know that she feels for me the way I feel for her.
"Solana maybe we should call it a night," she was dismissing me,
"Wait," I kept my hand on her face. I didn't want her to leave. I wanted to her to tell me how she feels.
"Yes," she denied eye contact with me she wouldn't look at me
"Can you still sleep with me tonight?"
She nodded and set up the bed.
