*Lillie's p.o.v*
-July-
It's been 7 months since the day Aiden was shot by those two horrid people, they've been arrested and locked up for a very long time. I haven't spoken to Dad since our argument at the hospital, I've seen mum a couple of times and JayBird but apart from that I haven't seen anyone. Aiden's away at university, he's been away for a long time.
I've shut myself out from everyone, even Aiden. I guess it had a bigger effect on me than I thought.
The sun is shiny bright on this early summer morning, I sit down on the bench facing the 'thing' I have come to visit. The song of birds is the only sound heard in this peaceful place. I looked at the headstone that lay in front of my tearing eyes.
In memory of :
Cecilia James
A beautiful daughter and twin
3 days old
15th June 2030
I lost my little girl, entered the world only to be taken away from it 3 days later. Cecilia was really ill when she was born, she fought for her life but the battle proved to be too strong and she unfortunately died.
I can't help but blame myself for her being ill. Why did she die? She was not even a week old yet was taken, she didn't get a chance to explore the world. I didn't get to see her, not until they turned the machine off those few seconds was all I got with her. I never got to hold her in my arms, I was only allowed to hold her hand.
I'm so glad I still have my little baby Owen, Cecilia's twin. He is so cute he has my blue eyes and Aiden's blonde hair.
How will Lillie cope with the loss of her baby? Will she ever talk to Nathan again? What about the rest of her family? Aiden, she keeps pushing him away....what if one day she pushes him too far?
