Chapter 2 - I Never Meant......

-I Never Meant......-

*Ellie's p.o.v*

I had just left the coffee shop after talking with Lillie. Tom and Kels now knew that I had been keeping it from Nathan. How the hell am I supposed to tell him?

I opened the front door and went on in. Well it's now or never.

'Where have you been?' Nath asked wrapping his arm around me from behind me.

'I saw Lillie.' I whispered keeping my head down.

'What?' He questioned his body tensing.

'I saw Lillie.' I repeated a little louder.

'You saw our daughter.' He said through gritted teeth moving away from me.

This was going to get him even more mad but I had to tell him the truth, I couldn't lie to him.

'I've seen her three times.' I admitted.

'You've seen her three times and haven't told me about it! I've been wanted to see her for the past seven months but had no idea where she was yet you've been seeing her and have watched me hate myself for what I said to my daughter, I regret what I said to her every day of my life but I have never been able to because I didn't know where she was.' He shouted.

I flinched from his tone.

'I never meant to hurt you.' I whimpered, I hating seeing him this mad and it was because of me.

'Well I guess it's too late for that.' He spat and stormed out the room.

'Nathan!' I called after him.

'What?!' He yelled.

'I.....I'm sorry.' I cried.

'Yeah, well I'm sorry too.' He sighed dropping his tag to the floor before walking out and slammed the front door.

'Oh what have I done.' I muttered sliding down the wall till my butt hit the floor holding my head in my hands.

*Lillie's p.o.v*

I sighed dropping the baby bag by the door.

I changed and fed Owen before putting him to bed, he made a gurgle kind of noise while wrapping his hand around my finger.

'I love you Owen, I just wish daddy was here.' I sighed kissing his head.

'Daddy is here.' Aiden's voice came from behind me.

I turned to look at him.

'Aiden?' I gasped.

'Yeah beautiful it's me.' He smiled.

I walked into his arms.

'I missed you.' I admitted.

'I know, I missed you too, I didn't mean to abandon you, I was being selfish and giving myself time and space even though you needed me.' He said kissing my head.

I yawned, the lack of sleep was overwhelming.

'Baby, go to sleep I can look after Owen if he wakes.' Aiden whispered leading me to the bed so I could go to sleep.

I rested my head in his chest, feeling happy in his arms, letting the tiredness take over. Falling into a deep sleep for the first time in a month.

A/N: It's Christmas Eve and Christmas Day tomorrow so Happy Christmas too you all i probably won't be able to update until after the 2nd of january as i am going out to portugal on the 27th by myself so merry christmas and happy new year too you all.
