-You're A Great Mum-

*Lillie's p.o.v*

Today the rest of the crew are finding out about Owen today.

All the kids are at school, so they will have to meet him another time. They have all gone to a coffee shop.

Aiden has his Uni class between 11:30 and 1 today, so will be out by the time I get home.

10:30-12:30 that's how long they are normally in the shop for.

I arrived outside the coffee shop at 11 and made my way in.

Everyone, apart from dad, mum, Tom and Kels gasped.

'Lillie?' Jay questioned standing up.

Owen took that moment to speak up and made a cry to get my attention.

'Lillie who's that?' Max asked curiously.

'This is Owen, your great nephew.' I replied nervous of their reactions. I handed Owen to Nareesha as she wanted to see him.

Jay gave me one of his bear hugs ‘I missed you Petal.’ He whispered using my old nickname that only he ever called me.

He pulled back and sat back down and I grabbed a chair taking my own seat in between Jay and dad.

‘So you’re not mad at me?’ I asked curiously.

‘No we could never be mad at you Lillie, we are just a bit shocked considering we haven’t seen you in several months.’ Michelle smiled taking her turn of fusing over Owen.

‘I shouldn’t have shut you all out.’ I mentioned looking down.

‘Aww Lillie don’t worry about it, you just needed time motherhood is a scary thing.’ Nareesha said in a comforting tone.

‘I know but I should have opened up to all of you, you’re all here for me no matter what and you would have helped me through the loss of my little girl.’  I admitted, I had hardly talked about Cecelia with anyone.

Everyone gave me confused looks, I couldn’t bring myself to say it so mum came to my rescue.

‘Lillie gave birth to twins but her daughter Cecelia died 3 days after birth.’ My mum explained making everyone faces drop.

‘Aww Lillie that’s awful, no one should have to go through that.’ Chloe spoke up sounding sad.

‘It’s alright, she’s in a better place now.’ I smiled slightly, Kelsey got up from her chair and hugged me.

‘Hey don’t cry.’ I didn’t even realise I was crying. ‘I know how you feel, losing a baby is hard but it will get better I promise.’ She reassured me, she pulled back and gave me a comforting smile before going back to sit next to Tom who gave me a nod and kissed Kelsey’s head.

Jay handed me Owen and I took him in my arms, I lifted him up and kissed his cheek before laying him against my front, I stroked his head as he closed his eyes. I looked up at my eyes travelled around the table looking at everyone’s face they were all smiling.

‘You’re a great mum Lils.’ Seev complimented.

‘We are all so proud of you.’ Dad said, everyone else nodding in agreement.

‘Thank you, I couldn’t have done any of this without you.’ I replied.

‘But you have Lillie, you’ve grown up to be an incredible young lady.’ Jay said sincerely.

We all carried on talking, soon turning into little other conversations. Kelsey cradled Owen as he slowly started falling asleep, ever since she found out about him Kelsey fell in love with him.

I drifted into a daydream and looked out the window, watching the people walk by. I did a double take, was that Aiden I just saw?! He's meant to be at Uni.

'Excuse me a second.' I said getting up and made my way out the shop door, I looked down the street, but couldn't see Aiden. Maybe it wasn't Aiden after all, my mind must be playing tricks.
