It's been five months since our wedding, everything has been incredible. Aiden and I are better than ever. He recently got a promotion, which is benefiting us a lot, we have also moved out of the apartment into a nice little house. My little boy is growing up so fast, he will be starting school next year. My due date is very soon. Pregnancy has given me the weirdest cravings such as pickles and peanut butter or bacon and melted chocolate. Owen was out with Aiden today so I was at home by myself. I sat in the kitchen in pyjama shorts and a tank top eating my pickles dipping them into my jar of peanut butter.
Once finishing the jars, I got up and headed to the sink. I bent forward to turn on the tap to fill the jars when I felt water trailing down my legs, I turned off the tap thinking it was that but the trailing water didn't stop, I then realised what was happening, I was going into labour. I picked up my phone and called my mum explaining the situation, I then called Aiden but he didn't pick up. I groaned and made my way into my room, I threw my phone onto the bed as it rang on speaker phone. I changed into clean shorts and wiped my legs with a towel.
'The person you rung is not available at the moment, please leave a message.' The dull voice said from my phone. I grabbed it shoving it in my pocket before putting another on the kitchen floor while waiting for my mum.
My mum arrived, picked up my baby bag and helped me to the car. I dialled Aiden's number and waited, but he still wasn't picking up. I flopped my head back onto the seat pressing the end call button.
'He's not answering.' I moaned looking at my mum.
'Don't worry, he'll be there.' She tried to reassure me taking my hand. I sent Aiden a text to let him know where I was and what was happening.
God this was getting painful as the contractions began. Luckily the hospital wasn't to far away.

Several hours later I was nearly fully dilated only 3cm to go. I lay on the hospital a cold gel strap around my belly to monitor my baby's heartbeat. I was coping with the contractions. Aiden still wasn't here, where the hell was he? I was going to kill the guy. I looked over at my mum, who shot me an apologetic smile. There was a commotion in the corridor before the door burst open. A tired grinning Aiden stood there.
'Get you're ass over here before I get up and strangle you.' I growled as a more painful contraction hit me.
'I'm so sorry beautiful, Owen had wanted to go to the beach.' He apologised rushing over taking my hand.
'Aww.' I smiled then another contraction hit. 'I hate you for doing this to me!' I complained squeezing his hand to deal with the pain.
He moved the hair off my face and stroked my hair before pressing a kiss to my forehead.
The doctor came in sending a smile in Aiden's direction. He checked me again.
'It's time Lillie.' He mentioned pulling the gloves off before going to fetch the midwife and a nurse.
Aiden grinned at me, this would all be over soon and we would have another little baby in our family.

'One last push Lillie.' The midwife encouraged.
I was holding Aiden's hand tight, I was so tired.
'Come on beautiful, it's nearly over.' Aiden said.
I gripped his hand once more and gave one last push.
I flopped back on to the pillow, as the sounds of cries filled the room.
'Well done Lillie, you gave birth to a healthy baby girl.' The doc said handing me the crying bundle.
‘6lb 7oz, 43cm.’ He smiled as happy tears fell down my face as I looked down at her cute face.
'I'm so proud of you.' Aiden smiled making me turn my head to him. He took that chance to give me a kiss.
'Welcome to the world, Alisa James.'
I was feeling so exhausted yet so happy, she was finally here.
'I told you we'd have our little girl one day.' He mentioned as I handed her over to Aiden.
I watched as he held our little girl. Happiness filled his eyes as well as the look of protectiveness; he's going to be very protective of her I can tell.
The door opened and Owen came in followed by my mum, who had left the room to look after Owen in the waiting room.
'Hi Mummy.' He said climbing on the hospital to give me a hug.
'Do you want to see your little sister?' I asked as he glanced at Aiden.
He nodded his head curiously and made his way over to Aiden.
'She's adorable mum.’ I yawned, the tiredness hitting me.
'Get some rest Lillie.' Mum said softly as I led my eyes close.
*Aiden's p.o.v*
I was holding the most precious and delicate thing in my arms, my little girl. I was never able to hold Cecilia. I admired the little baby in my arms, I would do anything to protect her and keep her safe. I already knew, she would be able to get me to do anything for her by battering her eyelashes framing her big brown eyes.
Lillie has fallen asleep, I'm not surprised she must be exhausted. Ellie had left to go home, saying she would be back in the morning.
A nurse, Lillie seemed to know well had taken Alisa to put some clothes on her instead of being wrapped in blankets. She then put her in the plastic small crib by the side of Lillie's bed.
As everyone was asleep I decided, I should go to sleep as well.
*Lillie's p.o.v*
When I woke up, everyone else was asleep and mum was no longer in the room. Owen had fallen asleep on Aiden who sat in the chair next to my bed. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and slowly got up, to go to the bathroom. On the way back I picked Alisa up out of her cot and brought her back to the hospital bed with me to feed her. At nine, the doctor came in.
‘Hello Lillie, you and your baby are fine. You are allowed to leave once you fill out the discharge forms.’ He explained writing on the clipboard at the end of the bed.

Owen sat in the back as Aiden put Alisa in the back and I got in the front. Aiden then got in next to me, I expected him to drive off but he didn’t I looked over at him and he was looking back at me, happiness enlightening his features.
‘I love you.’ He said giving me a kiss.
‘I love you too.’ I smiled.
With that he drove off, the journey home was quiet but the silence was far from awkward.
We arrived home after the fifteen minute drive, I slowly climbed out picking up Alisa following Aiden who had opened the front door. Cheers filled the house causing a grin to spread across my face, I walked into the living room to see everyone there.
