I stared at Aiden and the ring he had in his hand. God it was beautiful.
'Lillie?' Aiden asked curiously, sadness coating his voice.
'Yes Aiden, Yes.' I beamed wrapping my arms around him.
'Thank god, I thought you were going to say no for a minute.' He breathed out in relief.
'No, never.' I replied confidently.
It was a magical night.

Tomorrow was our last day, currently Aiden and I were just lazing in our room. When I got a call from Dad.
'Lillie, we need you to come home.' Dad's voice had pain laced in every word.
'No, Nath let her have her time with Aiden, they are coming home soon anyway!' I heard Mum interfere.
'What's going on?' I asked getting worried.
'Nothing you need to worry about, hope you're having an amazing time sweetie, we will see you soon.' Mum said obviously stolen the phone from dad.

'Nath, I need to talk to you.' Ellie's voice filled my ears as I walked into our room.
'Sure baby girl, what's up?' I asked smiling sitting down.
My face dropped as she spoke, no this can't be happening! I didn't realize I was crying until Ellie grabbed my face in her hands, her eyes wet too.
'Are you sure?' I asked to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
'Yes Nath, I'm sure.' El nodded.
'I love you.' I whispered wrapping my arms around her feeling protective.
*Lillie's p.o.v*
Dad had called me over, Aiden and I got home last night. Aiden was currently getting Owen. I walked into the sitting room. Loads of people were in there, all my aunts, uncles, siblings and dad. Just the cousins weren't there. Three bodies soon collided with my side. I looked down to see Aria, Alfie and Oscar, I comforted before they were encouraged back over to my aunts.
Everyone had been or was crying, Dad and Tom Tom looked the worst. What was going on?
'What's wrong?' I questioned looking around the room.
Mum stood from her place on the sofa, holding on to Dad's hand tightly.
'Lillie, I have to have a operation, the survival rate is low.' Mum said calmly.
I felt my legs give out from underneath me making me fall to the floor, my breath got stuck in my throat it felt like I was choking. My head was spinning, Mum was dying. The four of us might lose our mum, Dad might lose his wife the love of his life, Tom might lose his little sister, we might lose a member of our family. I've already lost my daughter I don't want to go through the pain of losing my mum too.
I allowed the tears to flow freely. How could this happen? Why is this happening?
I felt arms lift my small body off the floor, I clung to whoever it was. When I had calmed down, I peeled myself from whoever's arms, which turned out to be Jay's and hugged Mum, gently in case she was fragile.
'I love you Mumma, I'll be with you every step of the way.' I said using her old nickname.
'It'll be alright Mum.' I promised kissing her cheek.
'I love you too Lils, I always have and always will.' Mum whispered.
