~Chapter 26~

-Happily Ever After-

*Lillie's p.o.v*

I woke up with a blanket covering me, keeping me warm. I threw my legs over the side of the bed and got to my feet. An alarm went off on my phone, I glanced at the screen which had 'Six days till wedding' flashing on it. The thought made me want to cry all over again, but I couldn't cry, I wouldn't let myself. I turned the alarm off and got changed out of the dress I had been in the night before, pulling on trackies and a strap top. I went into the kitchen and stood in front of the counter sighing.

Two arms trapped me in between them, a body and the counter.

I turned in his arms and looked at his tired face before remembering what had happened and dropped my head. No words were spoken in that moment, he pressed a kiss to my forehead.

I got home at some godly hour of the morning, staying out to give Lillie space. I found her passed out on the bed so pulled a blanket over her to make sure she was warm. I decided it was best if I slept on the sofa.

I heard Lillie get up and saw her walk into the kitchen and followed her in. She stood by the counter and sighed heavily, I moved to be behind her and placed my hands on the counter so her body was boxed in by my arms. She turned around facing me, her eyes trailing over my face as mine travelled over hers, she still had mascara and eyeliner stains on her face. A form of realization took over her eyes and she dropped her head looking defeated, it made me feel awful I had done this to her, I had made her feel this way.

I leaned forward pressing a kiss to her forehead, closing my eyes as I did so.

'I'm sorry.' I whispered every movement of my lips touching her forehead.

I lifted up her chin making her look into my brown eyes, asking a question that made me hurt so much.

'Do you still want to get married to me?' I asked forcing the words out of my mouth.

'I love you Aiden but maybe we are too young....' She trailed off. Her reply annoyed me.

I stepped forward, making our bodies closer together.

'How can you say that? Age has never stopped us do anything ever before so why now? What's the real reason and why are you trying to make excuses?' my voice firm with a hint of my annoyance.

'I....I...' she didn't know what to say.

I crashed my lips to her, wrapping my arms around her waist my fingers tracing the skin on her lower back, pulling her closer to me. At first she didn't respond, I deepened the kiss. This seemed to make her response, she kissed back her small hands gripping my t shirt keeping me close to her. After a while I broke the kiss and pepper her face with kisses as well as her jawline before making my way down her neck. I paused leaving my face in the crook of her neck before speaking.

'I never meant to hurt you.' I said sincerely, I hated the fact I had caused her pain. I left soft tender kisses as I made my way back up her neck to pause again, this time by her ear.

'I'm so sorry Lillie.' I moved my head away from her neck to look right into her eyes.

'I don't want to lose you Lillie, I want to be here for you, for Owen, for the little one who's inside you, please don't leave me, I love you.' I begged her, my arms still around her waist.

She cuddled herself into my chest.

'I'm sorry.' She whispered.

'No baby don't you dare apologise, you have nothing to be sorry for.' I retorted holding her close.
