The celebration of Lahe was only a day away and my nerves were getting the best of me. I had already dug through my wardrobe multiple times Lahe helped me out with the colors, since my vision was only black and white. Finally I was able to set outfits aside and packed them in a worn down suitcase I found collecting dust.

I didn't have anymore meetings with the Duke and Duchess, which I was grateful for that. Rhedin was already at the palace, but apparently a couple days ago Tirvak tagged along. I suspect he was still trying to court the Third Princess.

I hadn't received any contact from Hazen, but I hoped he was doing alright. The only thing that was keeping me from hunting him down, was the chance of seeing him at the celebration. Because of that, I was training harder than ever. Yeah, self-defense was a part of it, but I really wanted to beat Hazen up for worrying me.

I was able to find a longer piece of metal to transform into a sword, so I was able to improve on that in his absence. I still wasn't able to hide it, like my other weapons. My hairpins were coming with me to the celebration, in case I needed them.

I also wasn't aware of the currency in this country, so that was something Lahe had to help me with. They did also help me find a conveniently placed bag of gold that I could use to pay for things. I'm seriously questioning the morals of this deity.

I'm gone. Why does it matter? (Cue evil laughter)

I was really excited to see the procession. Apparently Adraria was a militaristic country and prided itself on order. This was also when the Third Prince would be coming back from the south with his army. The Third Prince gained the title "Dark Prince" when he was down there. The locals say it was because he was like a shadow in the night when he attacked. I was curious to see if he still held onto that title in the broad daylight. Either way, it was sure to be something to remember.

The day was here and I was too excited to sleep. Thankfully it was a four hour trip, so I would sleep on the way. NYC definitely prepared me for power naps on the subway. I would be traveling behind the Duke's family into the capital. I didn't mind being isolated, because that allowed me the freedom to explore.

Tossing my suitcase in with me, I settled back on the seat. My carriage was definitely smaller, but it was better than riding horseback. That lead me on a whole other thought. I don't know how to ride a horse, so if asked I would rather walk.

A bit dramatic wouldn't you say. But you do you Boo.

How old are you exactly? Honey, it's not nice to ask for someone's age. But to answer you, I'm ancient.

Shrugging my shoulders, I leaned back and watched the scenery pass me by. It was mostly plains, but as well go closer to the capital I started to see a mountain range. From my studies, the capital was nestled between two mountain ranges, provide natural protection and a unique climate.

The northern part of the country was a little more chilly, whereas the southern part is more hot and dry. The eastern and western parts were more temperate with less extreme weather. This country really seems like it was created for the people.

I was startled out of my stupor to see the mountains opening up to reveal a city, the capital. Now the capital didn't really have a proper name, but other countries call it Dulehr named after the royal family that ruled within its walls.

As we approached its walls, I could only stare at the marble that was a contrast from the nature that surrounded it. The gates opened wide and I could now see the heart of the city. The road, wide enough to fit 3 carriages, led all the way up to the palace. The palace was elevated above the common marketplace. It was a unique design and I couldn't help it but be curious.
