A group of people emerged in the area. Bowing before the King, the rest of the attendee followed suit. After they stood up, they broke into tiny groups. Each of the groups stood before one the tents. For our tent, we got a group of four. I couldn't tell the age or gender, due to the hoods covering every facial feature.

These four were whispering. After a bit, whisps of light started coming together. It formed different shapes and floated in the air. I was amazed. Wanting to get a closer look, I turned towards Khesir. At first he was confused, but I whispered my request. With an amused look in his eye, he stood up. I pretended to not notice the magicians shying away from the tent.

Dropping his hand, I walked close and sat on the grass. Right in front of these magicians. This time the whispers, which were chants, stopped. Waving my hand I wanted to make them feel comfortable. "Oh I'm sorry, I just felt your magic and wanted to be closer. Please don't stop."

Two members looked at each other and guided the others to start all over. With a smile on my face, I was listening to the sound of their magic. It was like singing. The chants mixing with the hum of energy from the light. I couldn't help but add in. At first I was humming, then it turned to soft singing. I let the energy guide me.

"May these words be the first
To find your ears
The world is brighter than the sun
Now that you're here
Though your eyes will need some time to adjust
To the overwhelming light surrounding us"

I thought about when I woke up in this world. Uncertainty about my surroundings and finding out that I was blind. The shock that I could no longer see in the conventional way. That colors would never brighten my day. But the silver lines that guided me around the estate and made sure I wasn't going to fall into an abyss of darkness.

I'll give you everything I have
I'll teach you everything I know
I promise I'll do better
I will always hold you close
But I will learn to let you go
I promise I'll do better

Meeting Hazen and trying to find my purpose in this world. The days where I just wanted to disappear, but let out a breath and practiced my swordsmanship. The days spent in the library, amongst books, trying to figure out where I was and the rules. Learning about magic and the severe consequences. Being unsure about my abilities.

I will soften every edge
I'll hold the world to it's best
And I'll do better
With every heartbeat I have left
I will defend your every breath
And I'll do better

Saving Hazen and meeting Lahe. Admitting the importance of Hazen in my life and receiving a little of information about my purpose here. Studying more and preparing for the celebration of Lahe. Bracing myself for a journey that I had no control of. Meeting Khesir in the weapon store automatically being drawn to him.

'Сause you are loved
You are loved more than you know
I hereby pledge all of my days
To prove it so
Though your heart is far too young to realize
The unimaginable light you hold inside

Falling in front of the procession and meeting Hazen again. This time seeing Khesir as the Third Prince and not feeling afraid of him. Finding him in the alleyway and determined to save him. Lahe telling me a bit about my purpose. Meeting Khesir in his home and coming to a general agreement.

I'll give you everything I have
I'll teach you everything I know
I promise I'll do better
I will always hold you close
But I will learn to let you go
I promise I'll do better

The dance. The dance that took my breath away and solidified my future by Khesir's side. The desire to help him and even accepting the crazy propose of marriage. Seeing him on the battlefield. Seeing him hurt again and rushing to his side. Getting mad at the First Prince and arguing with Khesir. Our hug, where I could feel both hearts beat.

I will rearrange the stars
Pull 'em down to where you are
I promise I'll do better
With every heartbeat I have left
I'll defend your every breath
I promise I'll do better
I will soften every edge
Hold the world to it's best
I promise I'll do better
With every heartbeat I have left
I'll defend your every breath

The confrontation before the theatre. Getting frustrated at the people for not realizing how amazing Khesir is. Our first kiss. Getting distracted, but defending Khesir in front of his brother. The walk in the night sky. Our second dance. Laughing and almost falling. Learning about his past and feeling even more protective of him.

Hearing his declaration and being willing to stay by his side. I finally was able to sort out my feelings. I loved him. I love Khesir. With that revelation, I slowly wrapped up my song and came back to the present. One surrounded by a lot of people.

Confused I turned to try and find my anchor. Khesir was there, but his eyes were wide and jaw slightly agape. I couldn't figure out what made him that way, until I looked down. There was a glow surrounding me. It made me feel light and I hurriedly made eye contact with the magicians before me.

They were kneeling. And they were joined by the rest of the demonstrators. Yelling came from the royal tent and I tensed up. The King was making his way towards me. Khesir helped me stand up, but the glow would not go away. I was scared. I had no clue what was going on and just wanted to disappear.

"Make way for his majesty."

The shout emerged from the crowd and soon they parted. The King was marching forward, followed by the Queen and First Prince. I went to bow, but Khesir held me up by my arm. Confused I looked towards him, but he only stared straight ahead.

"What is the meaning of this?" I couldn't answer him, because I had no clue what was happening. "Speak!" I jumped. This was all too much for me to handle. Looking up at Khesir, he had moved to block me from the King's gaze. "My fiancé was singing along with the magicians. A light emerged from her and is still surrounding her." The King looked shocked at both parts of Khesir statement.

I was still behind him and didn't know how to explain myself. Before I could respond, another yell echoed across the area. "Your Majesty!" A tall, skinny person was pushing through the crowd. With a tilted hat and a set of glasses, they stopped before the King and bowed. The King had an annoyed look, but addressed them. "Yes Sintos, what is it."

They perked up and I could tell it was a man. He was a little older than Khesir, but had so much energy. I almost started smiling. There was something warm about his presence and my previous worries went away. "The energy that came from this young lady is that of Lahe's." This must have been an outrageous statement, because the King and Khesir both looked at him in shock.

"What are you babbling about. Lahe? The deity of Adraria?" Sintos nodded his head and I almost thought his glasses were going to fly off. "That is correct. I stumbled upon a scroll that reacts to energy of Lahe." The King wasn't buying it. "All magic is from Lahe, any magician can make it react."

That apparently was not true. "The magic that we have has been tainted by our mortal shell. The magic that this young lady is pure, just like Lahe." That's because it is me, you morons. I tried to mask my shock, because I didn't want to also delve into the mysterious voice in my head.

While the King and Sintos were arguing, a bold move on the latter's part, Khesir had started moving me away from the crowd. "W-wait you can't just leave." Sintos caught on and didn't want to lose a valuable piece of information. Khesir glared at him and gestured for Hazen to step forward. Hazen whispered something in Sintos's ear and we were off.

My head was whirling with what had happened. My abilities were found out, but not the ones that I originally had in my previous world. A headache was forming once again and I felt exhausted. We made it to the carriage and I immediately laid my head against Khesir's shoulder. I could hear some whispering, but I didn't bother to ask.

"....not safe at hotel....your place."

Idrifted away into darkness, unsure of what would happen once I woke up.
