"For heaven's sake, Fire," said Supersonic," stop pulling on my tail."

Fire grumbled and just kept flying. Fire turned to Peak.

"What do you think it'll be like?" she asked Peak.

"Peaceful, 'cause well that's the school motto. And hopefully normal and fun," Peak replied.

Fire rolled her eyes, obviously expecting a different kind of answer from him. The three dragons flew until they reached the tall peak. Supersonic stopped once they landed. In the background there was a NightWing showing dragons a clipboard and talking excitedly.

"All right, we're here," said Supersonic to his children.

Peak sighed. Even though he knew (or hoped) that Jade Mountain Academy would be fun, he also knew that he would have to say goodbye to his father for the first time in his life. Peak had never left Possibility. His mother and father weren't the overprotective type like Queen Coral, but he had no reason to leave the small, but nice town.

"Goodbye dad,"said Peak and Fire simultaneously.

The two both hugged their father goodbye. Supersonic flew off, which left Fire and Peak walking over to the the excited NightWing. She looked even more excited when she saw them.

"Ah,"said the NightWing," looks like two of the new students. Please tell me your name."

Fire and Peak both stated their names and once Fire left to find her cave, the NightWing, whose name was Fatespeaker, showed Peak his cave.

"Emerald Winglet, just look for the tunnel with the emerald decoration and then second cave on the left," said Fatespeaker.

Peak walked over until he found the tunnel with an emerald on it. He walked into the second cave on the left. Inside, he saw two beds right next to each other. There was a rock ledge, which he guessed was for him. Next to it was a sponge bed. What! I'm clawmates with a SeaWing? He's probably going to holler at me like,"Hey! You destroyed our palace!" That was not fair. He didn't even take part in that; he was four at the time. Peak had wanted to be clawmates with a MudWing or a SandWing or maybe even a RainWing, but a SeaWing? He growled and turned his attention to the scrolls in the corner. Peak was a scrollworm. Even he admitted that to Fire. Supersonic had given Peak a huge collection of scrolls that the library gave away, which unfortunately led him to find out about Darkstalker (what was he doing in a SkyWing scroll!) After reading about him, Peak had trouble sleeping. And a few months later, when he found out that Darkstalker was back he shrieked and never slept again without a night light. When he heard that Darkstalker went back he was so happy and always slept well (after burning all of the scrolls about Darkstalker). He looked at the scrolls and looked at all of them, trying to find a good one.

"You like scrolls, huh?" said a voice.

Peak turned around to find a SeaWing with blue scales. My clawmate, Peak realized. But this dragon did not look threatening at all. Instead, he looked very happy to be here. Mostly everyone was like that, but he had expected his clawmate to send glares at him and talk very coldly to him, but the SeaWing was the exact opposite. Peak's insult that he was about to say faded out and he said something else instead.

"Yeah, my sister calls me a scrollworm, even I admitted to it," said Peak.

Peak's clawmate laughed at this comment. "My sister teases me because I suck at education. I'm Baltic"

"I'm Peak," said Peak.

The two clawmates laughed and conversed with each other all day. This place is great. I even have a clawmate, a SeaWing, that I'm friends with. But little did Peak know, there was a new student this year, but unlike Baltic, this one would be a great bully.
