And after 9 weeks...

The forest was very dense.

Well, of course it was, it was a forest, after all, but Peak had a feeling that this was a bit denser than most other forests. He waded through the leaves, accidentally stepping on a caterpillar.

"This..." Baltic grunted, "...is the densest forest I've ever been in."

Peak nodded slowly in agreement.

Paradise snorted. "The Rainforest is at least ten times denser."

"And you live there?" Baltic asked in amazement.

"She's a RainWing," Peak pointed out, "Obviously she lives in the Rainforest."

"I didn't know that!"

"...Never mind."

Paradise watched a small snail inch across the plants and held up a hand for them to stop before they stepped on it. They stepped around it and watched the area carefully. Until they all realized something.

Peak flapped his wings frantically. "Where do we even look?"

"No idea..." Baltic replied.

"Ditto," Paradise answered both of them.

"So we have no idea where to-"

"No, I said Ditto!" Paradise repeated.

"We know..." Peak said slowly.

"No, Ditto is supposed to be a part of this forest!"

"Why did they name it 'Ditto?'"

"Beats me. Anyway, Ditto is this way!"

And then Paradise lifted up and flew off into the forest on the northwest area. Peak and Baltic shot after her quickly.

CRACK! Peak looked up and saw a tree with its stump slowly cracking and falling. Oh no.

SMASH! It just narrowly missed Peak's front talons, and fell to the ground. He looked up to see Burly, with the darkest look in his blue eyes he had ever seen. He stood up and then asked, "What are you doing?" in a low threatening voice.

"How are you even here?" Peak demanded.

"I saw you coming in. You are up to no good." he said.

"Hmmm...what kind of no good?" Baltic's voice said from next to him.

Burly looked flustered. "SOME KIND OF NO GOOD!"

"What kind?" Baltic asked.

This only resulted in making Burly even more annoyed than he already was, making Baltic pleased, as if this was what he wanted to see. Burly stepped closer to them, and without warning, snatched off Peak's pouch.

Peak reached for it but Burly jumped out of the way.

"Hey! Give it back!" shouted Peak.

He reached for his pouch again.

"Oh, this?" asked Burly with a smirk.

Peak growled.

"What's in here that you're trying to hide?" asked Burly, "and why don't I find out for myself?"

Burly opened the pouch. He looked through the pouch, bored with what he found inside. Peak kept panicking, scared that Burly might find it.
Finally, Burly stopped and laughed at the poor SkyWing. Peak felt sick.

Because in that pouch was where Peak's plans for the tranquilizer dart. And Burly knew them now. Burly could have easily found them out with his mind reading, but thankfully, Paradise knew some tricks from Kinkajou who learned some from Moon, and she taught them to Baltic and Peak.

It didn't matter now; he had found out without mind reading.

"You seriously think a tranquilizer dart would work? That it would work on the greatest dragon in all of Pyrrhia and every other continent along the way?"

Okay, now he's just bragging.

Burly glared at Peak. So apparently, he had heard him.

"I AM NOT BRAGGING! You know, if that's what you're thinking."

..Aaaaaaand he's horrible at keeping secrets.

This thought thankfully was not heard by Burly who was still irritated about the previous thought.

Peak tried to put a mental shield around his thoughts, which could now probably be only heard as Oh no, as this was the outer layer of his thoughts.

How do I escape?

He looked up just as Burly trapped Baltic in place with the fallen tree. This did not help Burly too much as Baltic continued to deliberately annoy him.

"SHUT UP YOU GOOD-FOR-NOTHING SEAWING!"

Why won't he just (something inaudible)? Burly's thoughts projected at him.

Why did that keep happening? Peak turned to look up. Trees, rocks, plants, riv - wait, plants?

There was a small plant growing there. The plants in this forest were poisonous, so maybe it could distract Burly without killing him, because if Peak literally killed a dragon, he was in a lot of trouble. Peak shrugged.

Better than nothing.

Peak walked towards it and discretely grabbed it and suddenly started to feel sleepy. He tiredly sighed and felt like laying down and just sleeping, but he knew he had to escape.

But why did he feel sleepy? He slept early, woke up early, and had a completely normal day before the forest, which hardly required any exercise.

With a swift move, Peak hurtled the plant towards Burly, and it hit him on the arm. Burly fell down to the ground immediately. Peak started to feel even more sleepy but he crept over to Burly, who was still alive. He still had a pulse, so he hadn't died...he had just fainted. Or fallen asleep. The tiredness overcame Peak.

And he fell asleep.
