The flag ship was under pursuit.
The decepticon that was hunting the group was relentless, since the team had 'stolen' something from him, he refused to let them get away. A priceless weapon, stolen by the most trigger happy member of their team.
Toxin, he was called, would not allow these... miscreants to escape.
Whereas the team were having their own troubles.
"What did you steal?!" A green and black medic screeched at the pilot, grasping onto one of the chairs at a control station.
"I didn't steal anything," The pilot shouted back, she didn't bother turning back to face the femme yelling at her, "It wasn't me, first of all, second of all, I'm sure Gearend only meant to borrow what he took, which he is still withholding!!!"
The black and red mech called Gearend could hear the screaming from across the ship in the weapons bay, it echoed through the ship.
He looked to his friend, who was trying to shoot down that massive ship tailing them.
"All of this trouble for a shiny old axe... Doesn't that seem stupid to you?" Gearend said, examining the weapon that he had in his hand.
The black mech did not respond, he was too busy with the overheating turret he was working with, an angry look in his optics as the turret spun left and right.
"Are you listening to me, Harvenger?" Gearend asked, his helm shooting upward to the open hatch that led to the turret cabin.
"No," Harvenger mocked.
"Makes sense to me."
"Shouldn't you be doing something useful, since this is entirely your doing?!"
"Probably?"
"Go help Raptore then! Make sure he doesn't blow himself up again!"
The red and black mech huffed, placing his new weapon in his subspace and leaving the weapons bay, going towards the engine. He rushed down the stairs to find the green dinobot.
The engine of their tiny flag ship had already been scrap when Raptore had stolen it from his sister, but now? It was on the verge of destruction.
When Gearend got down there, the entire engine room was filled with smoke and steam, pouring endlessly from the engines.
It took him a while to actually find Raptore, since he was laying on the ground underneath one of the main engines. He was practically shrouded in smoke and steam. The only reason that Gearend was actually able to find him is because he kept slamming a wrench against a set of broken pipes.
"What are you doing?" Gearend looked at him with skeptical optics.
Raptore jumped, turning his helm to look at the mech who was at fault.
"Trying to fix the engines, what does it look like I'm doing?" The green dinobot contorted, "What are you doing down here?"
"Harvenger told me to help you, aaaand I don't really think that hitting the broken pipes over and over again will help anything."
Raptore rolled his optics at Gearend.
"Well, I'm not sure what you can help with, maybe you could... no, that is not a good idea..."
"If you don't need any help, I'm gonna go stop Hawthorn and Beez from killing each other."
"Well, tell them to stop screaming, they are very distracting."
And so he left, moving as quickly as possible to the main bridge.
Gearend was not surprised to see that the two femmes were still yelling at each other. He didn't even know what they were yelling about at this point.
He slid into the room silently, slipping into one of the navigation control seats. The console in front of him told him that the ship would crash if they didn't repair the main engines one second, then shut off the next.
"Guys," Gearend shouted over the two femmes' shrieking, "If we don't land right now, our entire fragging engine is gonna explode. Pit, maybe the ship will go with it!"
Hawthorn turned to him, her visor flashing as she cursed.
Beelzebub tapped her comm. link, trying to get Raptore and Harvenger's attention.
"Guys, we have a situation," Beelzebub said through the comm., "If we don't land, we are all going to die!"
"I can fix it, just give me a few moments!" Raptore said, the sounds of shrieking steam coming through the audio receptors of the crew.
"Don't be a dumb dumb, Raptore, you can't dissect a glitchmouse, let alone fix an entire engine!" Harvenger snapped, "Toxin is too close! Damn it all to the Pit, Gearend, you just had to commit steal of that axe didn't you?"
"It was an axe you stole?" Hawthorn fired back, "He didn't tell us!"
"He was so busy gloating to me that he didn't show you guys, I guess"
He pulled the weapon from his subspace. The axe's handle was black with red vine like metal on it that twisted up to the blade. The blade was black metal. It matched Gearend's paint job and personality perfectly.
But he dropped it when the ship shook.
"Slag!" Hawthorn cried as she tried to take control of their ship again, "He's shooting missiles at us!"
The ship shook again, knocking down the members that weren't sitting, which was everyone but Hawthorn and Raptore.
Gearend and Beelzebub slammed against the wall, scrambling to get back up.
"What are we gonna do?!" Beelzebub cried, "The only planet near here is uncharted as far as we know!"
They all looked at each other, then looked to the planet in front of them.
"It doesn't look as bad as other rocks we've crashed into..." Gearend mumbled.
"We're gonna land here." Hawthorn said, her visor flashing again.
"What?! With little knowledge?!" Beelzebub shrieked.
"Stop picking fights and just list-" Gearend was interrupted by the ship shaking again, causing him to fall flat on his back.
"EVERYONE HOLD ON!" Raptore screamed through the comm, "THE ENGINE-"
Raptore didn't get to finish what he was warning them about, but they heard what had happened. The entire ship shook again as the engine imploded, causing the back half of the ship to explode. The ship's electricity stopped working, meaning so did their navigation.
Beelzebub dropped to the ground, pressing her servos to her audials. Hawthorn didn't move from her seat, still trying to get the ships navigation to respond. Harvenger was still trying to fend off Toxin, who was still shooting at their ship. Toxin shot at their already damaged engines, and blew up another one.
Their ship spun out of control and hurtled towards the planet below. The ship breached the atmosphere and began to burn. its metal twisting and its glass breaking. Toxin didn't know if the bots inside would actually survive.
The bounty hunter watched from his captain's chair as the ship flew downwards towards the mud ball planet with a smile on his face. His team didn't respond to him.
"After their ship crashes, we'll search it and find the weapon.... And kill any survivors."
-!=!-
The ship hurtled towards what looked to be a cave, crashing directly into it. It skidded until it finally stopped, tilting forward into a deep lake, threatening to fall all the way into the dark depths.
The ship was silent for that moment, its flaming exterior creaking as the fires began to dim down. The ship was falling apart slowly with the time that passed.
A piece of the roof paneling fell in the hallway, directly on top of the unconscious black and green bot laying on the floor.
