Part 10 - Preparation

When we got back to the glade, no matter how tired we are. We might've just found our escape. We mapped everything we did, then wrote down some things we saw. As we finished I had to tell Anna about the slime stuff that I stepped on, and the only thing she could imagine slime being from was the Scorders.

When we went to other sections, and there was never any slime. Except in Section 7.

"Could it be where the Scorders stay during the day...?" I hesitantly asked. We looked at each other curiously, Anna shrugging. We didn't jump directly to conclusions but that's one of the explanations about why we don't see the Scorders during the day. They go down the cliff in section 7 every day and climb back up every night. We ran to go tell Bella about the news we found out, she stared at us and slowly nodded, understanding what we were telling her.

"Is this the most you have ever found?" Bella asked.

"Yes, and it most likely is our way out" I said.

We nodded and decided it would be best to hold a meeting, with the leaders of the jobs, so we can get their views and opinions on the situation. I saw a couple girls chatting whom I've seen around, but don't know their names yet. I also found this one girl, Alice. Leader of the builders. I smiled at her as she walked in, she returned the gesture and sat down.

"Meeting begun." Anna spoke when every had sat down.

Bella and Anna both turned to me and nodded their head, telling me to proceed with telling the others the information I had gotten and what it could lead to.

I started explaining what happened whilst we were in section 7, told everyone about what we saw. Then explained how it could possibly be our way out. I saw some people eyes light up by what I said, but then I saw some glare at me, like I said something wrong. I paused for a moment before explaining the fact that it also could be where the Scorders stay during the day, and come out during the night. Like their home.

Everyone looked at me with wide eyes then I heard one of the leaders say "so basically your saying where we can escape, is also where the Scorders stay during the day?" I nodded. I looked up and then I looked at Anna and she proceeded to speak "May I have some opinions on the whole situation". We started at the far end. "Aside from the fact that, that's where the Scorders stay, I say we go try it. I would much rather try getting out of here and die, then spend the rest of my life here not trying.. and die." Miriam said. I looked around to see some of the leaders nodding in agreement, and also some that just glared. We got around and a majority of the girls will willing to take the risk of trying to get out of here, and that made me very pleased to hear. The rest just sat there silently, suggesting they will most likely not join us to our escape as they believe the glade is our home.
